☀️ 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 #𝟮𝟳𝟬 | 𝟬𝟳/𝟬𝟲/𝟮𝟲 What a morning for junior parkrun! With wall-to-wall sunshine across the Park, Run Director Kieran and the volunteer team were ready to welcome another fantastic field of young runners 🏃‍♀️

With no wristbands to present this week, there was no hanging about as Freddie got everyone moving with an energetic warm-up before we headed to the start line 🤹‍♂️

A brilliant 126 juniors completed the course this week, cheered on by an incredible team of 29 volunteers. We also celebrated 22 new PBs and welcomed 8 first-timers who completed their very first junior parkrun. We hope you enjoyed it and can’t wait to see you back again soon!

A huge thank you to everyone who ran, walked, volunteered, spectated and supported the event. Events like these simply couldn’t happen without you ⭐️

We’ll be back next Sunday for another morning of smiles, and for parkrun’s 1 millionth event globally 🌍

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 #𝟮𝟲𝟵 | 𝟯𝟭/𝟬𝟱/𝟮𝟲 Run Director Luke had everything under control as 122 juniors took to the usual two-lap course (for the second week) at Florence Park. With the school half-term coming to an end, it was great to see our numbers bounce back and plenty of smiling faces out on the course.

A huge welcome to our 5 first-timers, including 2 visiting tourists, and congratulations to the 32 runners who achieved shiny new PBs! 👏

A special congratulations goes to our DofE volunteer Olenka, who reached 10 volunteering credits with Florence Park juniors. Thank you for all your hard work and enthusiasm! 🦺

☀️Flos Cafe and Flo’s Refill Shop are now open again following our renovation with a fresh new look. ☀️ We’ve added some exciting new items to our Cafe menu, and Flo’s Refill Shop now features new products and a few helpful tweaks to make self-service easier than ever. 🙏This has been our longest temporary closure since opening our doors as Flo’s in 2019, so we want to say a huge thank you for bearing with us during this period of change. While our newly renovated space is now open, we still have our training wheels on for a little while longer as our hardworking team gets to grips with the brand-new kitchen, new coffee bar, updated machinery and layout, and our refreshed menu. (And, of course, the record-breaking May heatwave, for good measure!) We really appreciate your continued patience and support while we settle back in. ❤️ You may also notice our new logo and visual identity launching this week, too, along with our brand-new website, which is due to go live very soon. 👀 We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved and hope you love the new space as much as we do. Come on down, we’d love to see you! 😘
