First club trip of the year - 11 of us paddled Aberfeldy to Grandtully. Well done to the 4 newer paddlers who all did an excellent job of applying their learning from the pool and last summers river training.
It was a "Fun day out on the water" and "challenging but fun!".

Sun is shining, snow is gone, come kayaking!

Something for everyone on our latest beginners trip, surf waves, strong eddy lines, ferry glides and some rolls and swims, well done team! 🤙

Thanks to all coaches and helpers who attended the session with Poppy Croal to brush up on our skills for coaching rolling ahead of pool sessions starting next Sunday.
If you're interested in joining the club for these sessions, they will be weekly on Sunday evenings at Perth leisure pool, please contact us to enquire or book a space. There will be sessions for beginners and those looking to develop their skills including rolling.
Sessions will cost £5 and are for 1 hour. We will be offering small group coaching with 1:1 help available when resources allow.

What can I expect at the pool sessions?

Our paddlers say it's a "great place to practice skills, and rolling in particular, in a safe and supportive environment during winter before going out on the river during the spring and summer! Would definitely recommend - and it's warm!"
