🌟 Chair-Based Exercise Class in Stanground – Everyone Welcome! 🪑💪
Hi everyone! I’m Laura, and I run a friendly weekly seated exercise class in Stanground. We already have a lovely group of ladies (and a few gents) who come along each week, and we’d love to welcome a few more people.
Our sessions focus on gentle strength, mobility, and movement, all done safely from a chair – plus there’s always plenty of chat and laughter too 😊
✨ Perfect for:
• Beginners
• Anyone wanting gentle exercise
• Improving strength & mobility
• Meeting friendly local people
🎁 Your first session is FREE – so you can come along and see if you enjoy it.
📍 St Michael’s Church, Mace Road, Stanground
🕰 Every Friday, 1:45 – 2:30 pm
If you’d like to come along on Friday or want more information, just comment below or send me a message.

Hi everyone!
Thank you so much for liking/commenting on my post and following my page! 😊
My first official class will be held on Thursday 22nd January at the Royal British Legion in Yaxley. There’s plenty of parking, so no worries if it’s a bit too far to walk. Please pop the date in your diary!
The class is very gentle and suitable for all abilities, mostly aimed at over 60’s but everyone is welcome!! Especially if you’re feeling a little nervous about starting exercise or haven’t done any for a while. Everything can be done at your own pace, and there’s no pressure to keep up or do anything that doesn’t feel comfortable.
Light, seated exercise can help improve mobility, strength, balance, and confidence, and it’s also a lovely way to stay active and social in a friendly, supportive environment.
The first class is completely free, so please do come along, give it a try, and see if it’s something you enjoy, you’ve got nothing to lose. After that, classes will run every Thursday and work out £6 per class. I’ll be asking people to book blocks of 6 classes for £36 and you can use them and come along whenever suits you, so if you can’t make it one week then you’d just carry it over to the next week.
This will be my first class too, so it really is a journey we can go through together, and I’m excited to get started and meet everyone.
I’ve attached the poster with all the details, but if you have any questions at all, please feel free to message me.
Please let me know if you’re able to come along and I’ll make sure there is a seat for you.
Hope to see you there!
Laura
