Today's story is two fold for my Outdoor Fitcamp team.
1. I pushed them ! The rest was reduced, the intensity was increased, but both classes rose to the challenge.
It was so nice to have Akhtar back, bringing along her lovely friends Pam & Laura.
Speaking of Laura's, great to see Laura & Sarah back for a second session.
Speaking of second sessions, huge well done to Dawn for doing double classes today!
Speaking of huge well done, incredible work by Ellie hitting a 1 minute plank, after several weeks off.
And finally speaking of minutes, outstanding effort and big round of applause to all the evening ladies for doing 4 MINUTES OF BURPEES π€ͺπ₯΅π₯
2.

πͺ Fantastic focus from Emma in today's morning class.
πͺ Well done to Emma & Cath in the evening class for increasing their weights!
We go again on WEDNESDAY 630PM!

Taste like Nandos but more veg, less calories and lighter on the wallet, I'd also argue quicker.
My goal the last few weeks has been simple
EAT MORE !
Specifically in the form of vegetables, to help keep me fuller for longer, and prevent me having those nightly magnums π¦!
From a psychological point of view, with my plates looking so full, it feels like I've got loooads of food, which makes me happy.
And eating more ( of the beneficial, nutritionally dense foods) will provide me with more energy to help me get through the day & push harder in my training.
Leading to...one step closer to my goals!
Unsure about food...drop me a message and let's chat, start by telling me which Nandos heat level are you π₯!? Solid Medium here π₯΅

π MONDAY MADNESS was BOXING π₯
A fun form of cardio, thst brings out plenty of laughter.
The boxing pads is a great way to improve cardiovascular fitness, coordination, agility, core stability and mental focus.
Pairing the sparring with 5 down to 1 reps on bodyweight exercises, to keep heart rates & spirits high.
π We say goodbye to Akhtar for a couple of weeks, and this lady left with a bang, doing double sessions! Super impressive!
π Welcome back to Fiona, who was thrown in the deep end with the session and the damp morning, but she still left smiling.
π Nice to welcome new lady Kimberley. Another friend of Deborah's, who settled in well to the chatter whilst work mentality. Lovely to meet you.
πSee you again on Wednesday 630pm, Thursday 930am or Saturday 915am!

Fajitas!!πΆ
A great source of protein - chicken, quorn, beef or prawns.
Tons of vegetables - onions, tomatoes, peppers, chilli's.
Low calorie wraps, pittas or even garlic bread.
Paired with a huge salad - lettuce, spinach, more peppers, more onions, cucumber, more tomatoes, spring onions. Greater volume but low calories, making us feel fuller for longer.
Covered in a selection of herbs & spices...job done!
Cook double portions to feed you for lunch and/or dinner the next day.
Super simple. Super delicious. Super nutritious.
π³Balanced, healthy meals do not need to be complicated or fancy.
If you want some direction with your nutrition, DM 'food' and let's have a chat.

It's so easy to taint special memories, the second you come home, with panic of weight gain and falling off track.
But it doesn't have to be like this!
If your lifestyle consists of manageable, sustainable, enjoyable habits, that you can easily fall back into, that panic won't exist.
For me,
Nutrition - I increase the amount of fruit and vegetable I eat, and I return to home cooked meals that I know and love.
Hydration - I fill up my 2 litre water bottle each day and take it everywhere with me. This acts as a visual reminder to drink.
Movement - I return to parking further away, walking breaks in between clients, stretching once a day and doing the workouts I enjoy.
None of that is crazy, but all of it is sustainable and helps to reduce the unnecessary guilt from making memories.
π If you'd like help with structuring your lifestyle habits, in a way that will reduce these negative associations, drop me a DM today!
