The team matches are coming on us quickly. The B Team have had a fabulous day at Pannal ⛳️☀️. Playing well and enjoying the sunshine after the torrential rain last week.
The course and the food were lovely 🍰
Unfortunately we didn’t win but we had a lovely day . We are preparing for the home leg xx

Thank you for all who came to the latest 200 club evening . It was, yet again, a huge success, the 70s/80s disco night encourage some fantastic outfits. The dance floor was bouncing as we found our disco beat. It was lovey to have the doors open and the patio offered a place to sit and cool down.

On the wettest day of summer by far the ladies B Team brought it home. Beating Oakdale 3 1/2 to 1 1/2.
The ladies played well, when Sheila found her waterproof hat she found her swing . Gaynor with her glasses covered in rain, Gill L going from heat stroke to trench foot. Jill H hitting down the middle of the fairway and Sue P, who I found in the lounge having won on the 11th hair blow dried with a frothy coffee.
The ladies did well !

Fantastic support today from our local community, with a maximum of 24 teams playing in our annual golf day. Thank you to all for your incredible support of the POW Hospice helping to raise vital funds. Our bar team are awaiting the players ahead of the gala dinner with some wonderful prizes and auction items on offer. Huge thanks to lead sponsor Ison Harrison, staff and volunteers from the Hospice and our Greens team for presenting the course in first class condition with many compliments received.
