I don't go to the yard with the strangles outbreak but out of respect for the wider equine community and health of all equines, and some assurance to my clients, I will be: β

οΈSterilizing tools -Upon leaving each yard premesis until it has been fully eradicated.

Buried in the hedge line at home I stumbled across this old shoe. Hard to age it exact but defo in the region of 100- 200 years old. Heels turned over for a stud like grab so used for farm work and dirt roads π

A good post by a fellow farrier and the reason I fit alot of remedial packages to horses with low heels and collapsed feet ππ΄
