Our beginner classes for children aged 5-8 years are designed to build water confidence, teach essential life-saving skills, and help children learn in a fun, supportive environment.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the recent drowning incident involving a young boy in our local area. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with his family, friends, and everyone affected at this incredibly difficult time. 💙

As the warmer weather continues, we just want to gently remind everyone about the dangers of open water.
Even when others appear to be swimming safely, rivers, lakes, reservoirs, and other open water can be extremely dangerous due to cold temperatures, currents, hidden depths, and sudden changes beneath the surface.

Please
• Avoid entering open water unless it is a supervised and designated swimming area
• Never jump in to rescue someone if they get into difficulty
• Call 999 and ask for the Fire Service/Coastguard immediately
• Encourage children and young people to stay safe around water, especially during hot weather
