Our rattlers return to the hallowed turf looking to bounce back after the heavy defeat to Caerdydd Barbarians last week.

We're hosting Glangrwyney for what should be a lovely day's cricket. They are up and running from 12:30 so why not head down and support Engine and his Rattlers.

Team news as we travel to Sudbrook for our next SEWCL South East Wales Cricket League fixture. We're currently 4th in the table and it should be a cracker of a fixture between us and the hosts who are two position and two points behind us.

Thanks as always to our great player and club sponsors and we look forward to another busy weekend of cricketing action.

Teams news as we travel up the road to face Upper Rhondda Cricket Club this evening in our Macey Bowl Fixture.

Weather may be against us but who knows the Rhondda Micro Climate may kick and we'll get the game on.

Warm welcome to Aum Patel who's returned to the club this week should be a cracker of a game.

Porth Rattlers made the trip to Pontcanna Fields to take on Cardiff Barbarians in what proved to be a difficult afternoon for the visitors.
After losing early wickets and struggling to build partnerships, Porth were bowled out for just 58 runs. Credit goes to the Cardiff Barbarians bowlers, who maintained tight lines and made scoring difficult throughout the innings.
With a modest target to defend, Porth knew they would need a special effort in the field. To their credit, the team dug deep and showed plenty of character, refusing to give up despite the uphill task. Every run was hard-earned as the Rattlers fought for every ball, backed each other in the field, and looked to create opportunities wherever possible.
Unfortunately, Cardiff Barbarians were able to reach the target before the drinks break, securing victory despite Porth's determined efforts.
While the result didn't go Porth's way, there were positives to take from the team's attitude and commitment in the field. The Rattlers will look to learn from the experience, regroup, and come back stronger in the next fixture 🏏

Porth 1st XI pick up a great win against St Fagans.

Porth won an important toss and sole Great bowling from Ali & Alex with Lewis stealing the show with his maiden five wicket haul for the club with 5/22.

In reply Porth lost Olly reasonably earlier for 12 and Lewis and Alex set us up for the win until Alex fell for 30 with 15 to win.
