Tennis membership for the 2026/27 year is now available!
If you are thinking about resuming your tennis ambitions, or just starting, here is a little about us.
Rugby Lawn Tennis Club is an inclusive and diverse club, and we welcome players of all ages, gender, ethnicity and sexual orientation to join. Ability is not an issue either - whether you are a complete beginner, a social or a team player, we have something for you. We have adult and junior teams representing the club at various levels in leagues in Northamptonshire and Warwickshire.

Becoming a member entitles you to access the Coaching Programme, join a team and book and use the courts free of any charge (other than paying for flood light use).

Other benefits of membership include: entry into the ticket ballot for Wimbledon, members social play sessions and invitation to attend off court social events.

Memberships are for a period of one year commencing 1st April. For those joining in the winter months rates are discounted on a pro-rata basis from 1st October, then at the begining of every month until 1st March.

Short term out of area memberships for ex junior members currently at university or equivalent available at the discretion of the Committee.

Our Intro to Tennis adult courses start week commencing 13th April at Rugby LTC. It’s the perfect way to learn the basics in a relaxed, supportive environment.

We’re excited to launch our Intro to Tennis course — a fun, four‑week introduction for adults of all ages and abilities, starting week commencing 13th April at Rugby Lawn Tennis Club.

Whether you’re completely new to tennis, returning after a break, or a parent who until now has watched from the sidelines, this course is a great way to get involved. Our coaches will guide you through the basics so you can start playing with confidence from week one.

A hard fought draw against Kettering seals our 4th place in the very competitive 1st division for Northants Men’s Winter League. Our best performance for quite a few seasons.
The summer league starts in earnest in a couple of months time and if you are tempted by competitive tennis we have presence in leagues at all levels - mixed, male and women’s teams.
Our annual membership fees will be posted shortly but come and enjoy our new courts, top class coaches, competitive tennis, or just social tennis. The team can advise what might be suitable when you join.

More good news for the Vets team from captain Roger!
The Rugby LTC Northampton men's veterans team has gained promotion to the top division in the winter league. After a strange, frustrating season, with multiple postponed matches due to bad weather, the team finished top of its division. All its matches were won due to the great contribution of the squad: Jonathan Abell; Roger Allen; Gianpiero Colasante; David Danger; Chris Folker; Duncan Grime; Chris Haynes; Wajjahat Khan; Akhil Satsangi and John Victoros. Well done all!!
