She’s been in here from the start, captaining the Barraba Rams women’s team all the way to her 100th game!

Her dedication to not only the game, but the club, is true testament to the person she is.
From being one of the girls who helped pave the way for women’s rugby in Barraba, to now becoming the FIRST EVER Barraba Rams woman to reach 100 games — what an incredible achievement!

Pre-season continues! And what a session for the Lionesses! 🦁🏉💪

This week we did a carousel of activities focusing on handling, attaching, tackling and fitness, before putting all those skills into action with a competitive game of touch! 🔥

We finished off with a game of water balloon volleyball 💦putting teamwork and communication into practice while cooling off after a great session!

Plenty of hard work, plenty of laughs, and some great team spirit on show. 🦁 ❤️

Another fantastic session for the Lionesses tonight! 🦁❤️🏉

The squad put in a huge shift, with a fitness block, sharpening up their handling skills and getting stuck into tackling practice. The team also worked on high-ball catching, building confidence under pressure, before finishing with a competitive game where they put their attacking and defensive structures into action. A really full and fun session from our coach tonight!

The effort, energy and willingness to learn was brilliant from everyone involved. Every session is another opportunity to improve, and it’s great to see the squad continuing to grow together as the season approaches.

Behind every great team is a dedicated coach and we are excited to introduce the person who will be head coach for the Lionesses this season.

Expect supportive coaching, challenging sessions and an environment where everyone can grow in confidence and ability. Meach takes up the roll of head coach of the Lionesses for the second year running, as a team we look forward to continuing the great work together! ❤️🦁
