🏉 2026/27 Club Captain & Vice Captain Announcement 🏉

We’re delighted to confirm our leadership team for the 2026/27 season!

b16ydchapple will continue as Club Captain after taking on the role last season. Dan led from the front throughout the campaign and will be looking to build on last year’s progress as the club pushes for an even stronger season ahead.

Joining him as Vice Captain is smith679 . After making his return last season following a major knee injury, Callum produced an outstanding campaign, finishing a close second in the Player of the Season voting while also claiming the club’s Top Try Scorer award.

Callum’s commitment, determination and performances made him a natural choice for the role, and he will work alongside Dan in leading the squad both on and off the field.

Congratulations to both lads. We’re looking forward to seeing them lead the team into what promises to be an exciting 2026/27 season.

We aren’t a club with a big flashy ground or endless resources. What we have, we’ve built ourselves.

Our players are the club. They’re the committee, the volunteers, the supporters, and the driving force behind everything we do. No politics, no big organisation pulling the strings – just good people working hard for the badge and for each other.

That spirit is what has allowed us to keep moving forward year after year. Every improvement we’ve made, every opportunity we’ve created, and every step we’ve taken as a club has come from people giving their time, effort and support because they believe in what we’re building. We’re proud of where we’ve come from, but we’re even more excited about where we’re going.

At the start of the off-season, we launched 11 sponsorship opportunities. We’re proud to say we’ve already secured a Pitch Sponsor and filled 5 of the 7 available spaces on our new kit.

There are still opportunities to get involved and help us continue to grow.

This isn’t about funding a business or ticking a sponsorship box. It’s about backing a club that refuses to stand still. A club built from the ground up by people who give their time, energy and commitment because they genuinely care. Every sponsor becomes part of that journey.

Your support doesn’t disappear into a corporate machine. It goes straight into developing players, improving facilities, strengthening the club, and helping us build something bigger than any one season. The momentum is already building, and with the right backing, we can take this club to another level.

We’re currently looking for sponsors to support the things that keep the club running, the players improving, and the occasional rugby-induced disaster under control:

📹 VEO Camera System – helping us analyse games, improve player performance, and provide footage when needed. It also helps settle the age-old debate of “I definitely scored that try” versus what actually happened.

⛑️ Medical & Physio Supplies – tape, treatment equipment and all the essentials that unfortunately get used week in, week out. Let’s just say some of our players treat their bodies like hire cars.

🏉 Match Balls & Training Balls – because rugby without rugby balls isn’t much of a rugby club!

Every pound invested goes directly back into the team and helps us provide the best possible environment for our players.
