Great shift from the lads to pull it back to 2-2, still unsure how we didn’t take the lead after the number of close chances we created. Unfortunately a loss and exit from the cup, but top effort from the team very unlucky to come away with nothing

A MESSAGE FROM THE GAFFER

The last few days have been mad. Winning the league and achieving something that a Redlynch first team have not achieved for a very long time was a special moment, one I will never forget. One that goes down in history.

The cup final. We didn’t get the result we wanted. We battled and you have to give credit to the opposition because they came with a game plan and executed it. I can have absolutely no complaints with the performance and effort my boys put in. It was a showing of the grit and determination we have shown all season.

Thank you to everyone who came and watched us. It means a lot.

The end of season brings plenty of time for reflection but also plenty of time for continued celebration. We have our end of season do next week so I can assure you we shall be thoroughly enjoying our league title success and how well the reserves did this season.

3 years this group of players have been doing this. From junior 3 to senior 1 now. That is a hell of an achievement that will surmount any trophy you could ever put in front of me. Love this club, love my players. Up the lynch ❤️
