🐾🎉 GRIFF’S FUN DOG SHOW – WE’LL BE THERE! 🎉🐾

Have you heard? Fieldtastic will be joining the fun at Griff’s Fun Dog Show in Motcombe on Sunday 18th October at 10am! 🐶

We’ll be bringing running a Temptation Scurry Run 🏃‍♂️🐕 so come and see if your four-legged superstar has what it takes! There’ll be rosettes to be won 🏵️, so get those tails wagging and those paws ready!

But before we all turn up expecting the fun to organise itself, a huge shout-out to Clare, who has put an enormous amount of hard work into making this happen. ❤️

Clare has been busy behind the scenes putting in the time, effort and graft to help bring this event together, and we think that deserves a massive round of applause! 👏

So come along, support a lovely local dog show, have some fun with your dogs and see if you can take home a rosette!

📅 Sunday 18th October
⏰ From 10am

We’ll see you there! 🐾

🍰 **A LITTLE BAKE ANNOUNCEMENT!** 🍪

Sadly, **Chilmark Bake Co. won’t be at the field this weekend (10th & 11th October) or next weekend (17th & 18th October).** 😔

Sorry to disappoint anyone who was looking forward to a little treat while visiting Fieldtastic! ❤️

But while we’re away from the field, we’ve been asked to ask **YOU** a very important question…

🧁 **What bakes would you like to see at Chilmark Bake Co.?** 🍰

Brownies? Cookies? Flapjacks? Cakes? Something a little different?

We want to hear your suggestions! 👇

Pop your ideas in the comments below. You never know, your favourite bake might make an appearance in the honesty fridge next time! 😉

Thank you for supporting Chilmark Bake Co. Every treat sold makes us do a little happy dance… although admittedly, it’s usually with a cup of tea in hand. ☕😂

Chilmark Bake Co. what shall we bake next?🧁❤️

Both Mel AND her trusty lawn mower are having a little rest from grass duties. 😂

After what feels like approximately 947 million trips up and down the field, the pair have officially decided they’ve earned a sit down.

The grass can fend for itself for a little while… although knowing Mel, she’ll probably be itching to get back on that mower before too long. 🤣

So if the field looks a little less freshly scalped over the coming days, don’t panic, Mel and her mower are simply on a well-earned grass sabbatical. 🌿

Normal mowing obsession will resume shortly. 🚜😂

🐾 Dog friendly awards… WE’RE BACK AT IT! 🐾

Apparently there’s still time to vote for the Dog Friendly Awards, so we thought we’d awkwardly pop up and mention it. 😂

We haven’t pushed voting anywhere near as much this year because, quite frankly, we’ve been too busy doing the glamorous side of running Fieldtastic…

🌱 Cutting grass
🔧 Fixing things that dogs have apparently decided are optional
☕ Making tea and coffee
🐶 Watching your dogs have the time of their lives
…and occasionally wondering why we thought owning a dog field was a good idea. 😂

But if you’ve enjoyed visiting Fieldtastic, your dogs have loved their time here, and you think we’re worthy of a vote, we’d really, really appreciate it. ❤️

We’re a small, independent dog field, and every booking, recommendation, review and vote genuinely makes a difference.

So if you have a spare minute and fancy giving us a little click of support…

Please vote for Fieldtastic in the Dog Friendly Awards. 🐾

And if you don’t… that’s absolutely fine.

We’ll just be over here cutting the grass and pretending we’re not checking the voting numbers. 👀😂

Thank you for supporting our little corner of the countryside. ❤️

🐾 First impressions…

We’d love to know! 👀

When you first pull up at Fieldtastic, before the dogs have even got through the gate, what’s your first thought?

Is it…

🐶 “Right, let’s get these dogs OUT!”
🌅 “That view though…”
🏃‍♀️ “Come on, come on, COME ON!”
☕ “I wonder where the kettle’s is…”

Or something completely different?

We’ve spent so much time looking at the field that we’re probably completely blind to what first-time visitors actually see and think.

So tell us honestly… what was your very first thought when you pulled up?

🚨 A little reminder about the equipment at Fieldtastic 🚨

Unfortunately, our dog walk has been damaged. 😔 and kindly been reported to us.

We completely understand that accidents happen, dogs are dogs, after all! But if you damage, loosen, break or notice anything wrong with a piece of equipment, please let us know.

We need to know about it so we can check it, repair it or take it out of use if necessary.
What might look like a small bit of damage could actually make the equipment unsafe for the next dog using it, and we really don't want the next visitor discovering that the hard way! 🙈

So please, if something happens, just drop us a message. You won't be in trouble, we'd much rather know than find it ourselves later.

Keeping Fieldtastic safe for everyone's dogs is a team effort. 🐾

Thank you for helping us look after it. 💚

☕️ IMPORTANT NEWS FOR THE HUMANS…

Whilst the dogs are busy running, sniffing, investigating absolutely nothing and generally having the best time…

We thought the humans deserved something too.

So, tea and coffee are completely FREE when you visit Fieldtastic. 🎉☕️

Yes. FREE.

Because apparently watching your dog run around for 25 or 55 minutes is thirsty work. 😂

We also have cans of pop and hot chocolate available for a small charge, because sometimes tea just isn’t going to cut it.

So next time you’re here, help yourself to a cuppa.

The dogs get the field.
You get the caffeine.

Everyone wins. 🐶☕️💚

Fieldtastic: keeping dogs entertained and their humans adequately caffeinated.
