⚽️⛳️ IT’S GAME DAY! ⛳️⚽️

The annual OWLS 🦉 v BLADES ⚔️ is here, the most important derby in the world! 😂🏆

Can the mighty Owls 🦉 retain the trophy, or will Dem Blades ⚔️ turn it around and bring the trophy home in 2026? 👀🔥

One thing’s for sure… bragging rights are on the line! 🏆😜

Have a fantastic day, everyone, and the very best of luck to Captain Jon, Captain Bob and both their teams! 🙌

May the best team win…

⛳🤖 THE FUTURE OF GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE 🌱

As technology continues to evolve, robotic mowers could play an increasingly important role in the future of golf course maintenance, helping clubs work smarter, more efficiently and more sustainably.

🌿 What could robotic mowing mean for the future?

✅ Consistent cutting – Helping maintain excellent playing surfaces throughout the season.

✅ Greater efficiency – Allowing our dedicated greenkeeping team to focus on the finer details that make a real difference to course presentation.

✅ Environmental benefits – Potentially reducing emissions, noise and energy consumption compared with traditional mowing methods.

✅ Innovation – Exploring new ways to maintain and improve the course while embracing modern technology.

At Lees Hall, we're proud of our course and the hard work that goes into maintaining it. While traditional greenkeeping skills will always be at the heart of what we do, it's exciting to explore how new technology could support our team in the years ahead.

They never sleep 😴

👏 A big thank you to everyone involved in arranging the recent demonstration.

Thanks for everything, Pete ❤️

After 12 years on the Greens Team, Peter Wood has decided to call it a day.

Pete isn’t just a much-valued member of the Greens Team; he’s also a true Lees Hall stalwart, with over 35 years as a member under his belt.

That infectious smile, his generosity, and his great sense of humour around the clubhouse have brought plenty of laughs and no doubt a fair few stories along the way! 😆

I’m sure we’ll all have some fond and memorable memories of our time with Pete, and here’s hoping we have many, many more to come.

An unbelievable THANK YOU, PETE, from all of us here at LHGC. ❤️

Cheers, Pete! 🍻
All the very best, and enjoy every minute of it, you’ve certainly earned it! 👏💚
