Good luck to our U14 and U16 Regional League squads at EIS who start their leagues today and to our Bury League squads.

🩶💙🤍A strong start for Steel Senior Regional Squads this weekend.

1’s were clinical in their ex*****on this week, winning by over 50 goals even with some positional swaps.

2’s put out a strong performance to start their campaign in Yorkshire Prem and hit the point target against last season’s 2nd placed Yorkshire Prem team.

3’s showcased the talent emerging from our senior and U19 programme in a physical game. The squad held fast under pressure to take the win.

Well done to U17 Bury squad who had 2/2 wins against two challenging NW clubs.

With 2 Steel squads in Yorkshire Prem and 1 in Div 1 we are excited for the season ahead!

As the seasons competition starts to get underway we’d like to thank our incredible coaches, umpires and volunteers for their work this Summer in the Off and Pre Season to prepare our Steel Netballers.

Over 200 different Steel Netballers were able to join us on Camps this Summer.

Good luck to our 5 Yorkshire Regional Squads who have qualified for the 2026/27 season:
2 Yorkshire Prem Squads, 1 Senior Division 1, U16 and U14.

Our focus is now forming our Steel Senior and Junior County League Squads and our Steel Netball Tuesday league squads.

Steel U16’s have Qualified for the Yorkshire Regional League.🎉🩶💙🤍

What an incredible day to finish top of the morning pool AND top of the afternoon’s re-pool!!

These amazing netballers came together in July and have worked with commitment and positivity with coaches through the Summer to produce a day of united and quality netball.

To see the development in such a short time from all in our U16 programme (not just those selected for the Regional Qualifiers) is hugely exciting.

Thank you to all our dedicated coaches and thank you to all who have supported all of our U16’s.

Sheffield Steel U14’s finished TOP of their final pool finishing with 3/3 wins to qualify for the Yorkshire Regional Legaue.

We are incredibly proud of each of these talented players and dedicated coaches and of every netballer on our U14 and U13 Steel pathway!
