📍 Classes available at Halfway or Hillsborough After having trained and competed in dance competitions all over the UK for over 22 years, Sharnie Richards launched Excel Dance in 2008 with just one street dance class on a Saturday morning in Beighton. Since then, Excel Dance has grown to teach over 250 students in a full time dance academy open 6 days a week. The fiery passion and unfaltering enthusiasm of Sharnie and the Excel Dance coaches is what has driven that growth and what makes Excel Dance the UK's leading dance academy. Spanning the whole spectrum of dance styles and techniques, Excel Dance is perfect for those wanting to get into dancing but who don't know what style. Street dance, cheer dance and commercial dance are the three main styles taught and you're sure to find your favourite in one of our classes. People of all ages and backgrounds are welcome at Excel Dance. We have classes for toddlers, children, teens and adults. No previous experience is necessary and we will provide ongoing and consistent support along the journey. Whether you're dancing to get fit or dancing because you love it, you'll find your place at Excel Dance.

✨🏆 FIRST COMP OF THE SEASON DONE! 🏆✨

Just like that, we’re BACK! 💥 Our first competition of the season at On The Beat and what a way to kick things off! 🔥👏🏼

We’ve had some AMAZING results across teams, solos, set solos and duos, and we couldn’t be prouder of our incredible dancers! 🥹💜

These dancers have been working SO hard in classes whilst also juggling show prep, learning solos AND new team sections along the way! The dedication, determination and passion they continue to show never goes unnoticed. You’ve smashed it, guys! 🫶🏼✨

A HUGE shout-out to our amazing coach Jess for her fantastic choreography and for representing Excel throughout a very long but super fun day👌🏼

Jess said it was such a good day, with a really friendly, positive atmosphere, and it was so lovely to see our team members supporting one another, cheering each other on and, most importantly, having FUN in between all the dancing! 🥰 That’s what it’s all about! 💕

We’re so proud of every single one of you and can’t wait to see what this season has in store! The hard work continues… next stop, more dancing! 💥🏆

WELCOME BACK TO COMP SEASON, EXCEL! 💜💙🩷
