Some of our lovely members got together last night to celebrate 3 years of WLWG.
There'll be a few sore heads this morning.

Just the 3 of us and Maisie today for an early morning walk.
We walked across golf course to Longheys Lane then over the fields to Roby Mill.
We walked along Lafford Lane, then followed the footpath passing St Joseph's College. It looks like work has commenced again there.
We stopped at Coppice Cafe at Beacon Country Park for refreshments then walked back across the golf course.
Great walk, with lovely company and we were home before it got too hot.
Karen 😘

Warm, sticky walk from Dalton Church to Beacon Point.
We then walked along Longheys Lane and followed the footpaths down to Lees Lane and to the canal.
We crossed over the number 40 bridge and walked along Wood Lane, rejoining the canal at Chapel Lane.
We continued along the canal to Newburgh, stopping off at AppleCast for refreshments before getting the bus back (20 mins late)
Thanks everyone for joining me this morning.
Karen 😘 xx

It was a very warm walk today from Siding's Lane Nature Reserve.
We walked across the fields to Dairy Farm Road, then along the Linear Park, up to Higher Lane and through the countryside to Bridge Farm Rainford.
After a refreshment stop, we made our way, back over Rainford by-pass to the car park.
I'm glad I didn't bring Maisie as it was far too hot πŸ₯΅
Thanks to everyone for your lovely company and chats.
