A somewhat blustery walk this morning from Westgate to Bickerstaffe.
We had a refreshment stop at Paloma Forrest Nurseries and just made it back to our cars as the heavens opened.
Thanks to everyone for your lovely company and chats.
Karen 😘

A pleasant circular walk just under 6 miles from Burscough to Martin Mere with a refreshment stop at Brandreth Barn Cafe. We were rather fortunate with the weather as the rain had stopped when we started our walk.

Thanks to Marie Gerval
for organising this mornings walk.
As some of us were a bit fuzzy headed after our Abba night at Thirsty & Co. Since 2023 so
we just repeated Tuesday’s walk to Parbold and Newburgh.
Thanks to everyone that joined us
Karen 😘

We had a wet start to our morning walk from Dalton Church.
After half an hour, the sun came out and we had a lovely walk through the Dalton Countryside and down to the canal.
We walked along the canal to Parbold, then on to Newburgh, with a refreshment stop at the Red Lion Hotel, Newburgh Village.
We came back via Newburgh Sports Club and up the newly laid footpath, across the fields to Higher Lane and back to the Church.
Thanks to everyone that joined me, for your company on an enjoyable walk.
Karen 😘

Thanks ladies, for joing me on a gentle, evening stroll, around Tawd Valley Park.
It was refreshingly cool after the warm day.
Karen 😘

Lovely early morning walk from Dalton Church.
We dropped Maisie off at home, as it was already too hot for her at 8am.
We then had a leisurely walk across the golf course and around Beacon Country Park.
After our walk we had coffee and cake in my garden.
Thanks to everyone that joined me, for your lovely company on a very hot morning 😘

Lovely 6.5 mile walk today from Dalton Church.
We walked over the golf course to Longheys Lane and followed the footpath to Stonehall Hall Lane, then down the Lane to Appley Bridge.
We walked up Bank Brow, across the fields to Walthew Green and past the crocodile and gorilla's to Farley Lane.
We walked up the lane, to Coppice Cafe at Beacon Country Park for refreshments, and walked back across the golf course to the church.
It was a good work out today, with lots of ups and downs to get our hearts pumping.
Karen 😘

An enjoyable 6.5 mile walk this morning from the Ashurst Centre towards Dalton countryside, Roby Mill, Upholland and Beacon Country Park. Weather was a mixture of sunshine and showers, blue skies and dark clouds.
