On Sunday 28th February a Bridge of Allan team joined 11 other teams for a long afternoon and evening of curling.
We played teams from Lockerbie and Edinburgh as well as Peak regulars such as Blair Drummond.
The curling was of a high standard and we battled our way to the semis won the semi with a steal plus a last stone draw and played in the final against Gogar.
The matches were of three ends and we had to play some key games against the hammer which is quite tough.
Unfortunately we had to settle for the runner up place on the day, being beaten by Gogar in the final. All our team played well (Jamie, Nick, Sophie and Lesley).
A highlight was Jamie winning the last stone draw to decide the semi -final against Kippen.
Thanks to the Gargunnock Club for arranging this competitive and fun event.

The Sunshine Quiach was won tonight by Jamie Roy & Sophie Humphries in our doubles competition.
They won with 6 shots up.
Congratulations.
