One week until our June Social!

If you’re a beginner thinking of giving backgammon a try, come along. You don’t need a board as we have plenty. We can help you get to grips with the rules and run through a few games to get you started.

Summer knockout draw completed followed up by a few games outdoors!

Our Summer Knockout draw takes place this Saturday at Auctioneers Arms Caverswall.

If anyone else wishes to enter, please reply to this post or DM by 10am on 20th June. The competition will run from June through to the end of August. Social game days are unaffected, anyone can attend.

Nine players attended the first of our Backgammon Tuesdays last night!

We’re back at London Road Ale House on the following dates:

7th July
4th August

We have a busy June schedule, starting with Backgammon Tuesday, this week at London Road Ale House, from 6pm.

We round off the week with Summer Sessions II at The Birches Head, Saturday 13th June, from 12pm.

As well as these Summer specials, we have our June Backgammon Social at our regular host venue, The Wheatsheaf Stores, on Sunday 28th June, at our usual time of 2pm

Our Spring League concluded tonight, with Ken winning the final 7 - 4 against Matt.

Both Ken and Matt topped their groups to progress to the final and proved their consistency throughout the last 3 months.

Congratulations to both players for a high quality final and congratulations to Ken for lifting our inaugural league trophy. 🏆
