**swimmer of the month!**

Well, we couldn't decide between 2 of our Gold squad swimmers for September’s Swimmer of the Month, so we presented awards to them both!

Congratulations to Eleanor for her consistent hard work that is paying off with a host of recent PBs.💪

And congratulations to Stephen who is eating chunks out of his Regional times. 💪

Well done you two!! 😊

It’s swimmer of the month time!

August's swimmer of the month award goes to Freddie Bannister, in our Junior Silver Squad. 💪

Freddie works incredibly hard, always listens, and his technique and speed are therefore coming along in leaps and bounds.

He sets a great work ethic to his group.

Well done Freddie!!

Two teams, made up of our club swimmers and masters, are undertaking a pretty gruelling 24-hour open water swim relay on Ellerton Lake and would be very grateful for any donations!

And yes, they are actually swimming all through the day and night, including swimming in the pitch dark 😬, and camping to try and get some sleep inbetween their shifts on the water!

Please support ‘Team Swim Shady’ as they raise money for an amazing charity that provides essential swimming lessons for children with disabilities 😊🏊‍♀️🏊

Many thanks, and here’s the just giving link (it takes you to our page, created by one of our team - Chris Borrowdale) 😊
