Dynamic Rock

09/10/2026

We’re thrilled to welcome Birchgrove Comprehensive back to Dynamic Rock this year! Thanks to the generous support of the Austin Bailey Foundation, VALE and councillors from both Llansamlet and Clydach wards, we’ll be providing indoor climbing sessions over the next 5 months to Year 10 and 11 pupils as part of their Agored Cymru Learning in the Outdoors courses. Through learning climbing techniques, rope skills, teamwork and other skills the young people will not only gain accreditation towards their final qualifications, but will also work towards gaining NICAS Climbing Levels 1 & 2 and learn about career pathways in the climbing industry and outdoors!

Anyone available to help with this?

📢We need your Help! 📢

We are thrilled to be hosting the South Wales Round of the BMC Youth Climbing Series again this year! Hosting YCS is one of the highlights of our climbing calendar and an awesome opportunity to champion talented young climbers and invest in the future of the sport but we can't do it without the generous help of our climbing community. We need volunteer judges and belayers on the 11th October.

No experience required for judges but belayers need to hold either CWI or higher or have attended a comp belaying workshop. Email [email protected] to volunteer.

Hot drinks will be provided for volunteers throughout the day.
