Our U8s & U9s enjoyed a cracking couple of hours on the beach tonight with teammates, parents and siblings, followed by some well-earned Salty Chips and ice cream! 💜

Now the countdown is on… training returns on Wednesday 19th August! 🙌

That's a wrap on another fantastic season for our Gower Galaxy U7s & U8s! 💜

What a way to finish the season... because you simply can't end a football season without the traditional Parents vs Girls match! 😄

Girls showed everyone how it's done, running out 5-4 winners! 🏆👏

A huge thank you to all of our amazing players, parents, families, sponsors and coaches for your incredible support throughout the season. Watching these girls grow in confidence, teamwork, ability and more importantly their friendship has been an absolute pleasure, and we're so proud of every single one of them 🏆

We'll be taking a well-earned break over the next few weeks to recharge, but don't worry... we'll be back with a bang in August, ready for another exciting season!

What a fantastic day at the Bryncoch Football Festival! ⚽💜

That brings the curtain down on our U11s' season, and what a way to finish it! The girls went unbeaten throughout the seven league games before narrowly missing out in the semi-finals after extra time.

Every single player was outstanding from start to finish. They played some brilliant football, scoring some fantastic team goals with excellent link-up play, movement and passing throughout the day. Defensively they were solid, showing great determination, organisation and commitment to keep opposition chances to a minimum.

A special mention also goes to our goalkeeper, who put in an incredible performance between the sticks, producing a string of outstanding saves at crucial moments to keep us in the games. 👏🧤

The effort, teamwork and attitude shown by every one of the girls was a credit to thems. They should all be incredibly proud of themselves after an excellent season. Well done girls, you've been amazing! 💜⚽

And the season comes to an end for the u8s at Gower galaxy with our last festival! As always the team was outstanding from start to finish! On to new adventures next year but as always thank you so much to the parents/grandparents/guardians for making sure these players show up and give their all every week.

But the biggest thank you goes to our players, it doesn't matter the weather, come rain or shine they show up and give their all in every training session and match, we couldn't be prouder of the progress they've shown yet again this year, bring on next year and for one final time UPPA GALAXY 💜💜💜💜

What a day we had for the u7s at The Galaxy Festival yesterday! 💜⚽️ The girls put on a show-stopping display of football at their very own festival, making everyone incredibly proud of the team they have become.

The girls started exceptionally well, recording 2 wins and a draw in their opening three games, with plenty of goals coming from Reeva and Ella. Evelyn was everywhere, working tirelessly and battling for every ball, while at the back we had a solid defensive display from our rock-solid defenders Rosie, Gwen and Jennifer👏

After three long 12-minute games, tired legs started to kick in and the girls suffered two losses. But honestly, that didn't matter one bit. The football they played during those games was some of the best we've seen from them all season – full of confidence, quality, teamwork and determination. We couldn't have been prouder.

🏆PLAYER OF THE WEEK goes to Reeva for her cheeky skills and brilliant finishing. Her left foot found the back of the net several times with some fantastic goals. Well done, Reeva! 👏⚽

A fantastic festival from start to finish. A huge thank you to all of the organisers and volunteers for putting on such a brilliant event and showcasing Gower Galaxy Football Club. Every girl representing the club did us proud.

Gower Galaxy held its presentation day yesterday to celebrate the players achievements over the season.

It’s been great to see the player development, enjoyment, passion and dedication to the club over the year.

With our players at nearly 190 we held an afternoon and evening event at The Lodge in Gorseinon. All our coaches presented trophies to our players through the day, which was then followed by music from the brilliant DJ Dan’s Disco 👏👏

A special thanks to Chantal Barallon for creating the amazing balloon arch 👏

A huge thank you goes to every player, parent, family member and friend who purchased tickets and helped make the raffle such a success. Thanks to your incredible support, we raised an amazing £817!

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to all of the local businesses and organisations who generously donated prizes. Your support of grassroots football and our young players is greatly appreciated.

The money raised will be reinvested directly back into Gower Galaxy FC to support the continued development of our girls through:
