Squishy Munchkins

It's been such a busy week I've only just had time to add our theme from last week!

I love our under the sea theme with our giant octopus and all of our lovely books.

In our baby massage class we learnt the tummy strokes, recapped the leg and foot strokes and learnt our colic and constipation routine 😊.

In our baby yoga class our little ones became more familiar with some of our stretches while adding some new moves in too.

Of course we ended both classes with a sweet treat and a chat 🍪.

We have more courses starting on Thursday 4th July including our little adventurers class for crawlers to 2 year olds 😊.

I'm so happy to announce our next courses starting Thursday 9th July at are now available to book onto ☺️.

Starting with our Little Adventurers class at 9.45 suitable for crawlers to 2 years of age. Here we will enjoy a themed story, nursery rhymes and free play with the themed sensory setup. Finishing with a sweet treat.

Moving on to our baby yoga suitable from 8 weeks to pre crawling, we will learn some gentle yoga inspired movements, sing some nursery rhymes, then your little one can enjoy the themed sensory setup while you enjoy a sweet treat.

Closing with our relaxing baby massage suitable from birth to pre crawling. Here you will learn gentle massage strokes for the whole body which we build on each week. This is a relaxed class where you and your little one can focus and enjoy time together. We also enjoy a sweet treat at the end of the session.

It was so nice using our new venue today. The room is so lovely with soft lighting that makes it feel relaxed and cozy.

I was so fortunate to be invited to showcase one of our sensory setups at The Mum Club brunch today. The space was setup beautifully and I can't wait to see the photos ☺️.

I met some amazing mums and they're little ones. I also squeezed in some lovely cuddles ☺️. It was so nice to meet and chat with you all and I'm looking forward to seeing some of you on our next courses starting June 4th at Cub and Cup Playcafe.

What a wonderfully busy weekend of facepainting and soft play hires. There were lots of happy faces, which was great.

We had all ages joining in with the face painting from 5 years old up to grandparents. Just showing that face painting really can be enjoyed by everyone!

Let me introduce myself.

I'm a mum to 2 lovely little girls. I find being a mum is both amazing and challenging. I love my girls but know that I wouldn't be able to do motherhood without my village.

I've been nursing since 2012 and have worked in multiple different areas. I've finally found a place where I get a great work/ life balance and get to grow Squishy Munchkins too. I love my team at work and love meeting so many of you through classes, parties and events.

I created Squishy Munchkins about 18 months ago. Starting with baby massage classes and soft play party hire. I soon added face painting and baby yoga classes into the mix. I then created my Little Adventurers classes to continue the connections fostered through the other classes. All of the classes are relaxed and baby led. They are there to support you and your little one. I know going to classes can be intimidating when you're still adjusting to having your little one, so my class numbers are kept small to feel less intimidating.

When I added facepainting to the services I offer I had no idea that it would become the most booked service ☺️. You can find me regularly at Lotmead Farm. I have also been lucky enough to be at carnivals, fire works and music festivals too.

Finally I have become a bit of a crafter. Using my cricut machine and write knit creations to produce hands made personalised gifts for goody bags. These are also available to buy if you're looking for something a little more unique.
