🌿⛳ Volunteer Appreciation Post ⛳🌿

A huge thank you to our fantastic volunteer team who, over the past few months, have been working incredibly hard constructing the brand-new fence line alongside the road by the 18th hole.

Although the project is still ongoing, the transformation so far already looks absolutely superb and is adding real character to the area whilst improving the overall appearance of the course. The craftsmanship and attention to detail have been brilliant to see, and the new fencing is quickly becoming a standout feature as players make their way up the 18th.

This has been a tremendous effort from everyone involved, giving up their own time to help improve the club for all members and visitors to enjoy. Projects like this simply would not be possible without the dedication and hard work of our volunteers.

Thank you again to everyone who has helped so far. We look forward to seeing the finished result in the coming weeks 👏⛳

⛳️ The greens are looking absolutely fantastic!

We’ve had so many positive comments recently, with many saying the greens are in the best condition they’ve been in for years. 👏

A huge thank you must go to our Head Greenkeeper Stephen McAdams and his greenkeeping team for all of their hard work, dedication, and attention to detail. The course is looking superb and is a real credit to the effort they put in every single day.

🏆 Huge congratulations to Pete Caddies, our Greenkeeper and Scratch Captain, on winning the Nelson Grimshaw Senior Open at Garforth yesterday! 👏⛳

Pete secured a fantastic victory with a superb gross score of 70, finishing ahead of second place on 71 and third place on 75.

This was an outstanding achievement, especially considering the strength of the field, which included members of the Yorkshire Senior Team.

A brilliant performance and a thoroughly deserved win — well done Pete! 👏🏆
