The May division rotation starts tonight, with Rob D and James T stepping up to Division 2 for the first time. Along with Andy S, making his Division 4 debut, and Barry W in Division 5 for the first time. We also welcome back Raymond R to the club after some years away, and not forgetting James B, who's secured his third Division 1 win of 2026!

Huge congratulations to two of our juniors who only started playing last summer, but entered and competed in their first competitive games at the Shropshire Junior Open last weekend. Everyone at the club couldn't be prouder of you!

The Staffordshire Squash 25/26 Winter Leagues and Cup Competition came to an end over the last few weeks, with Tamworth Squash & Racketball Club being crowned league champions and Four Oaks Squash Club winning the cup competition.

We ended up finishing 4th in the cup, with both league teams doing the essential work of holding up the rest of the league from the bottom, with team 2 finishing in 7th place and team 1 in 8th. Not forgetting our very own James B, who won our player of the season for his brilliant performances for team 2 during the last few months, increasing his SquashLevel from 1150 to a very impressive 1987.

Huge thank you to everyone at Staffordshire Squash, our two team captains for organising their teams week in, week out and also all the players who took part. Onto Summer league!

Our March rotation began yesterday, which sees Andrew G making his Division 1 debut, Michael P and Craig A stepping up to their highest ever division placing, along with Andy S who joins Division 5 for the first time.

Congrats also go to James B who secured his first Division 1 win of 2026 and finally, we welcome three new faces to the club, Michael G, Adam W and Shirley S!

The first cycle of 2026 is underway tonight, and due to the continued growth of the club we’ve added an eighth division to accommodate everyone and give us space to build in the future.

Huge congratulations to Adam D on securing his first, first-place finish 🏆 With the addition of a new division this cycle, it’s quite difficult to highlight highest-ever starts, but a big well done to everyone who earned promotion last cycle: Nick M, Rob W, Andrew G, Allen C, Craig A, James T, John F, Paul D, Innocent Z, Barry W, Jade P and Irene G. We’re also delighted to welcome Andy S to the club.

Want to give squash a go? Never played before or looking to get back into the sport? Want to keep fit whilst making friends? Then our Saturday Squash Socials are for you.

Sessions run from 11:20 to 13:20 on the third Saturday of every month and are open to everyone, whatever your ability or experience. There’s no need to book or reserve a spot, just turn up and play. The sessions are free and relaxed, with the aim of introducing new players to squash while also giving existing members extra court time to develop their game.

Back for 2026, our fortnightly Junior Squash Club sessions are led by our certified England Squash Coach Rob Caddick Squash Coaching.

Sessions focus on instilling the fundamentals of the sport while enhancing your child's confidence, fitness, and coordination. Offering an engaging cardio workout, most kids won't realise they're exercising! Furthermore, being an indoor sport throughout the year, it provides an excellent alternative to muddy pitches and chilly mornings on the sidelines for parents.

Sessions will run from 1:20pm - 2:40pm and cost just £5 each. There are limited spaces available so booking is required. To book or for further information, don't hesitate to send us a message or contact Rob Caddick Squash Coaching.

Continuing into 2026, our Ladies Only Squash Social is a fun, friendly way to stay active, meet new people and enjoy a game of squash on a Sunday morning.

Sessions run on the first Sunday of every month from 9:20am to 11:20am, and they’re totally free to join. All abilities are welcome, from first-timers to seasoned players. No need to book. Just turn up, grab a racket (we’ve got spares if you need one) and get involved.
