⚽️❤️🖤 a tough day on the pitch for the boys today but their effort, work rate and battling was second to none.

First game VS DMC Hamburg
The boys put their all into their first game today, some excellent displays of football and battled from start to finish. They never once stopped running up and down that pitch scoring 2 great goals, ultimately the game finished in a 5-2 defeat.

Second game VS Hednesford AFC Stags
Another game of hard work, effort and a strong display of everything that the boys have been learning in training. Once again their hard work was undone and we came away with a 5-3 defeat which did not reflect the game itself.

Although we’ve ended the day with our first 2 defeats of the season, the boys showed up & should be extremely proud of the performances displayed today!

MANAGERS PLAYER 🏆:
This week our number 6, Demari takes home managers player. He battled with all his might & deserves the recognition for 2 of his best to date performances. Well done D 🤩.

PARENTS PLAYER 🏆:
Our number 23, Ashton received this weeks parents player. Once again, he did not stop running, timing his tackles to perfection and scoring a well deserved goal. Well done Ash 🤩.

An excellent performance put in by the boys, every single one of them put the effort in and came away with a deserved 9-3 victory.

The best game of football we’ve seen from the boys, the performance displayed by each of them was absolutely incredible.. the warriors played with one less player than their opponent and still battled to come away with yet another 9-3 win!

A breathtaking morning of football with every single outfield player scoring a goal today. Our number 1, Owen also pulled off some amazing saves to keep our number of goals conceded down.

Managers player 🏆:
This week our number 11, Jesse leaves with the managers player trophy. He ran his legs off up and down that pitch never once showing any lack of effort. He was rewarded with a hat trick and the recognition he deserved. Well done Jesse ⭐️

Parents player 🏆:
This week the parents player trophy goes to the entire team. Nobody could be picked out individually as all of them put in their best performances we’ve seen. They all worked and battled for each other.. could not be prouder of any of them. Well done boys! ⭐️

We now have a free week and well deserved break before we prepare for our next fixtures in two weeks time.. ⚽️

Although the boys were knocked out of the tournament, they showed brilliant determination and bounced back to finish with 2 wins from their final 2 games. 👏⚽
