Warrington Rowing Club was opened in 1986 and since then has grown year upon year.

As a club, we have seen numerous successes over the years and continue to achieve at local and national levels. We cater for all abilities from complete novice to elite - the club runs the popular 'Learn to Row' course at various points throughout the year. The club is ran entirely by volunteers and welcome anybody that would like to come down and get involved!

HUGE congrats to our 3 x J16’s (Noah, Flo & Laurence - pictured here at Hollingworth Regatta today!) who all smashed their GCSEs and are off to study at John Deanes and Warrington UTC. 💪

As always the consistency of rowing has supported them throughout the stressful times and given them the resilience to juggle it all.

We’re so proud of them all and delighted for them. ⭐️ 👏 🙌

Thanks to Kathryn for the photo!

GOOD LUCK to all our juniors getting GSCE results today!

We hope you get what you hope for. But if not, remember, your results don’t define you. You ARE amazing and you have so many opportunities ahead of you. 🤩🤩

Another great Latchford Duck Race event hosted at our club today. 🦆

A slow stream and contrary winds led to a shortened course, but lots of fun anyway and those ducks - large and small - did their very best to make progress from that start line!

Well done to the huge amount of organising from our local community group. And also massive thanks to the volunteers from our club who gave up their afternoon to put out the finish lines, and recover the 100s of ducks from the most far flung banks of our river! Thank you Den, Richard, Kev, Emily, Barry, Olly and Jen! 🙌

Same again next year! 🦆 💙💛

Wishing our seniors best of luck at Peterborough Summer Regatta this weekend!

With six doubles, three quads, a four and an eight competing on Saturday and two doubles on Sunday, it’ll be an energetic weekend for sure!

But we also know there’ll be a big social element thrown in too!

Race well and have fun all! 💪 🚣 🥳💙💛

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS 🥳

To all our J18s on their A Level results.

It’s a sad time for us as we bid them farewell, but we’re so happy for them all and the exciting futures ahead of them.

We wish them all the very best of luck and all the happiness in the world as they go on as follows…

💥 Theo: Edinburgh University, to study History & Spanish.

💥 Tom: PWC/University of Ulster, to do a degree-apprenticeship in Business Management.

Good luck tomorrow to all our junior rowers picking up results! 🍀

Whatever those envelopes say, you’ve already proven what you’re made of - every early morning on the water, every session when it would’ve been easier to stay in bed. That takes a kind of grit that doesn’t show up on a results letter.

So - go get those results, celebrate hard if they’re what you hoped for, and if they’re not quite, remember: this club is proud of you for who you are, not what’s printed on a piece of paper. You are rowers. And you are amazing! 🤩💙💛 🍀

Terrific performance from Adam today at the English Beach Sprints today. His target was to reach the last eight and that’s exactly what he did, with his usual determination.

He was in good company, with all the other 7 quarter finalists being part of the GB trials process!

We’re so proud of you Adam! What a great performance! Very well done! 💪🤩💙💛
