Well done to our two crews who went to British Rowing Masters Championships at Holme Pierrepoint this weekend.
On Saturday, Alasdair, Gill, Jon & Jen raced in the MxMas F 4x and brought home a silver medal in what was a very close race!
On Sunday, Jon, Alasdair, Ben & Adam raced in the OpMas F 4-. They got through the eliminator and made the final. They missed out on a medal but it was a fiercely contested battle with some very strong competition.
Well done all! Thanks for representing our masters squad at a national level.! πͺππ

π£ WEEKEND RACES! π£
π£ METROPOLITAN REGATTA π£
Well done to our two senior crews who competed at Met Regatta. Maddy, Frankie, Leanna & Iffy raced on Saturday in the W4x Championships and Robin, Matt, Sean and Tom in the Op 4- Club on Sunday.
Both boats raced well amongst some incredibly strong competition. Well done to the seniors for all the hard work they are putting in to be able to compete at such high levels. And of course to their coach Richard.
π£TRENTHAM REGATTA π£
As always, the club had a great day at Trentham Regatta on Sunday. We always send plenty of crews and this year was no exception!
With 36 crews, from J13s to Masters F, entered into 30 events, we enjoyed 12 wins!
Our amazing juniors also won the Victor Ludorum Cup (along with Β£500 for the club!) which is awarded to the most successful junior club!
But even more importantly stay than that, this was another opportunity for our members to show what a great team we are. With everyone helping and supporting each other.
So shout out to EVERYONE who attended, competed and supported! πππ

Itβs always quite overwhelming to race for the first time and some of our younger juniors were doing just that yesterday, and we were so proud of them! And lovely to see our older juniors helping them out.

We wish Lucy and Adam the very best of luck as they participate in the Team Wales selection trials tomorrow and Thursday at Dorney.

WELL DONE to Adam, Ruby, Maisie & Lucy for their performance at the National Schools Regatta this weekend. All did really well against a very tough field.
π Adam came 8th in his time trial, reaching the A/B Semi final where he came 5th ans then going on to finish 2nd in the B final. (Photos below)
π Ruby came 21st in her time trial making the repΓͺchage where she came 4th. This lead her to then C/D semifinal where she came 2nd and on to the C Final where she finished 5th.
π Maisie & Lucy came 6th in the Time Trial which took them straight into the A Final where they finished 4th.
With over 50 competitors in the singles races and 35 in the doubles, it shows just how well they did with such competition.
