We have a Private Airsoft club with over 100 members. With the added advantage of being undercover, we can play throughout the year day or night.

Established in 2017 and based in the heart of Norfolk, on the former RAF West Raynham airbase, Scorpion is an Approved Activity provider for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award delivering Gold Residentials. We also offer a range of options for Birthday, Stag and Hen Parties, Corporate Events and everything in between with activities ranging from Airsoft to Low-Impact Paintball and Gel Blaster in our Glow in the Dark Battle Zone. The buildings currently in use were once the RAF Stations Hospital and Bunker complex, spread over two floors with pitch-black airlocks that lead into the hospital decontamination Centre, the close quarter battle (CQB) experience is guaranteed to get your heart racing and the adrenaline flowing! Excellent game scenarios, with realistic military simulation games and expert advice from our ex-military team, you will be challenged at every turn.

Last summer, Izzy joined us for her DofE Gold Fitness Residential. She has now completed her Gold Award and has successfully earned a place with His Majesty’s Royal Marines Band Service as a flautist!

Izzy told us that the residential helped her begin preparing for the physical demands of training—and that the group still keeps in touch and is hoping to arrange a reunion!

Congratulations, Izzy! This is a fantastic achievement, and we’re incredibly proud to have played a small part in your journey. We know you’re going to make a brilliant Royal Marines musician! 🎶💪

What a summer it’s been! ☀️

During August, we welcomed 101 GelBlaster and Airsoft players celebrating birthdays, stag parties or simply enjoying a day out with friends!

Our GelBlaster Shooting Booth was also out and about at the local college—and there was apparently a solar eclipse, although we were far too busy playing GelBlasters to notice! 😂

We also loved attending the Veterans Central SHQ Open Day in July. It was brilliant to see so many familiar faces and plenty of little Blaster Warriors testing their shooting skills.

And, of course, 60 young people joined us to complete their DofE Gold Residential section through our Airsoft, Fitness and very first Golf Residentials.

A final look back at our Summer Airsoft Residential!

What a week! Escape & Evasion, airsoft skills and drills, some great homemade food, CQB competitions and a fantastic night operation with both teams putting their plans into action to rescue the hostage.

We also saw the CQB competition record absolutely smashed — dropping from 1:01 to just 48 seconds to clear the building! That's going to take some beating!

And, of course, we experienced pretty much every type of British summer weather along the way… sun, rain, wind and hail!

A massive well done to everyone for completing their Gold DofE Residential section and making it such a great week.

And that's a wrap on our Summer Residential season for 2026! 🎉

Three residentials and 60 Gold DofE Residential sections completed! 🏆

We finished yesterday with a fantastic group on our Airsoft week — well done everyone, and we hope you all had a safe journey home (and a good sleep!).

Night Ops & a NEW CQB record! 🔥

Last night saw Red Team defending the building during a night operation — the calm before the storm as Yellow Team advanced on their position with one mission… retrieve the hostage! 🌙

Then onto today's CQB competition and we've got a new team at the top of the leaderboard! 👀

The previous record stood at 1:01 to clear the building… today that was smashed with a time of just 48 SECONDS! 🔥

Some seriously quick room clearing and teamwork from this group.

Can it get any quicker?! 👀

The final photos from our First Golf Residential have arrived! 📸 What an unforgettable week it was—from 22 strangers to new friends, we enjoyed 6 rounds of golf, friendly competitions, driving range challenges, lessons with Joe the Pro, a quiz night, and indulgent 3-course dinners each evening. Not to mention, the thrilling championship final!

A huge round of applause to all our participants! 👏 Completing 6 rounds in the 35° heat was no small feat. We all breathed a sigh of relief on Thursday when the weather cooled just in time for two rounds in one day.

Congratulations on completing the “Residential” section of your Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award and thank you for making our First Golf Residential a grand success! 🏆

A big thank you to the amazing team at Dunston Hall for taking such great care of us, from the hotel staff to the bunkers bar crew and the golf team! You were all incredible! 🙌

A little late, but we couldn't finish our Fitness Residential posts without this one!

What a week this group had. From the very first fitness assessments right through to the final Battle PT session and our Hybrid Fitness Challenge, they absolutely threw themselves into everything.

The Hybrid event was a tough way to finish, with some taking it on solo and others working in doubles — but everyone crossed that finish line! 🏁

It wasn't the easiest week either. Temperatures hit 35°C, but the determination, positivity and support everyone showed for each other throughout the week was brilliant to see.

A massive well done to all 20 participants for completing the Residential section of their Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award. 🥇

And a special congratulations to those who can now say they've completed their entire Gold Award! What an achievement. 👏🏆

Lots of hard work, plenty of laughs, some very tired legs and a lot of great memories made along the way.

Well done everyone — you were a fantastic group and we hope you're all suitably recovered by now! 💪
