Rockcliff Roses Womens Rugby

🌹ROCKCLIFF ROSES ARE RECRUITING!🌹

This season we will have 2 teams, one playing NC2, and an Inner Warrior team. We welcome all abilities, 18+, whether you are currently playing and fancy a change, looking for a team whilst at Uni, used to play or have never picked up a rugby ball, you are welcome to come along and experience the Rockcliff atmosphere. Rugby is for all, no matter your shape, size, age, fitness level, we are a team and here at Rockcliff you are welcome.

We train every Wednesday & Friday 7-8.30pm @ Whitley Bay Rockcliff Rugby Club, Lovaine Avenue, Whitley Bay NE25 8RW.

We have all the usual perks, gym, AGP pitch, student rates, physio, clubhouse..... but the best bit is the the team and the friends you'll make here at Rockcliff.

Yesterday the Roses invited players from across the club to take part in a fun social touch rugby tournament at the Bay Beer Festival. 2hrs well spent before enjoying the great range of beers/ciders/spirits and fantastic live music. The winners were the Rockcliff Rockets 👏. We'll be back next Beer festival with more match play and fun. Make sure you follow Bay Beer Festival for next years info if you don't already follow. The Roses are back training, if your interested or know someone that might be, let them know training is every Wednesday & Friday 7pm at Rockcliff, all abilities welcome.

The Roses took part in the Earlston 10's Festival on Saturday. It was a fantastic weekend, loads of laughter, loads of fun and made a load of friends. It was a lovely weekend of women's rugby played in great spirit. The welcome was unreal, from arriving Friday to leaving Sunday. We can't wait to take part again 🌹💛❤️
