David Roberts, a proud native of Whitstable and long-time volunteer, shares why he loves helping stage this much-loved celebration:
'As a volunteer and a native of the town, I have been involved with helping to stage the Whitstable Harbour Day for many years. I view it as a celebration of Whitstable's various maritime activities, providing a comprehensive showcase for local businesses, clubs and charities to promote what they have to offer. Music, displays and boat trips help keep everyone entertained whilst a diverse choice of food outlets keep them well fed. It's great to be a part of this much loved annual event.'
