That’s a wrap for our 2026 swim camp to Torremolinos! What an action-packed six days we had 👌

We are incredibly proud of every single one of the 22 swimmers who took part in this swim camp. They threw themselves into this experience, worked hard, supported each other and most importantly, they had fun. They were a credit to the club, their parents and the coaches.

A massive thank you to everyone who has been involved in organising this trip. It took an enormous amount of planning and months of work to get this swim camp off the ground and ensure it could happen. Thank you to the coaches and team managers for the hard work all week and for looking after all the swimmers while they were away from home.

Day 5 round-up from our swim camp in Torremolinos 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

Another day of beautiful sunshine for our last day in the pool. Everyone was determined to make the most of our last two sessions, even though there were some tired arms and legs today. Lots of music poolside, plenty of laughs and a few games and fun relays to keep the energy levels high.

There was even time in between training sessions for some shopping and yet more ice cream🍦

Day 4 round up ☀️
😀 After some great training this week, the swimmers enjoyed a morning off and we swapped the swimming pool for the water park for a few hours of fun on the slides.

🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️ Back to the pool in the evening for a sprint session with everyone putting in maximum effort.

🎂🎂🎂 Fun end to the day in the hotel with cake and celebrations for Scarlett’s 16th birthday!

All the swimmers are working hard and having fun. One more day of training to go 💪

Day 3 round-up 😀 Started the day with land training and a pool sprint set in the sunshine. Back to the hotel before heading to the beach for a sea swim and game of rounders, then finishing the day with our evening swim session. Making the most of our time here in Torremolinos!

⭐️ Huge congratulations to our amazing junior team on making the Division 2 final of the Nuneaton Junior League. After an action-packed afternoon of competition we finished with a well-earned 7th place on the night and in the league. 🎉🥳🎉

⭐️ Every swimmer gave it their all at the final and we’re super proud of how well you all represented the club throughout this competition. There’s been amazing team spirit at every round and lots of swimmers have also stepped up to swim up an age group and earn us valuable points. 💪

⭐️ The final was a fantastic day out, lots of fun and there were brilliant performances from every swimmer on the team. It’s great to see all your hard work in training paying off.

⭐️ Huge thank you to everyone who has helped out as an official and to all the families for their support too. It was brilliant to hear those cow bells ringing in the spectator area last night!

⭐️ Yesterday was also the final Diddy League for some of our older swimmers, so it’s a farewell to this competition for Ruz, Max and Thomas. For everyone else, we look forward to taking part again next year!

150 years. One club. One big community. 💜💛

Our 150th Year Summer Party reminded us what Wolverhampton Swimming Club is all about. Seeing generations of members, families, volunteers and friends enjoying the sunshine together made our 150th celebration truly unforgettable.

The day was everything we hoped for and more! From sunshine and smiles to live music, inflatables, yummy food, games and fantastic photo opportunities from Pardi Booth - Magic Mirror Photo Booth, it was amazing to see our club community together.

Thank you to House of Cupcakes UK for our amazing cake and biscuits.
