Update for everyone booked on the training days.

At the moment we have enough ground and cover to start as planned. We desperately need the rain thats forecast to come though, we do have more cover coming through but its a few weeks behind.
This has been even tougher than last year (I didn't think that was possible) and the lads have done everything they can to get these days to go ahead.
So if everyone could do a rain dance or two that would be helpful 😆

Juno has been scanned and confirmed in pup this evening.
Both the sire and dam are extensively tested.

Its always fantastic to hear how things are going with owners of dogs we've bred. Heres an email from today.

Dear James and Claire,

As Siri’s (Jarailstar Tarr) second birthday is fast approaching, I thought I would let you know how she’s been.
Simply, we adore her, she’s stolen our hearts much to our daughter’s amusement!

She’s a real thinker and is everything we hoped she would be. Whilst I’m not up to your trialing standards she is so far doing everything I ask of her. She sits at the peg, marks and remembers where the shot birds land and searches and retrieves when sent.

She has been greatly admired by many people on our shoot.

We’ve had 10 ESS’s over the years and she is easily the most intelligent, almost a bit too clever for me at times 🤣.

Laughably when we got married 41 years ago I turfed Ian’s then spaniel off the bed and 30 dogs later this one is the first dog allowed back upstairs!!!!

A local event that would benefit from a bit more support, sadly we can't make it as we are away training.

After waiting longer than expected for Junno to come in to season we have finally managed to get her mated with Otto. Just have to keep fingers crossed now until we scan her in 4 weeks to see if its been successful.
