Another fantastic Seaton U8s Presentation Night and a brilliant way to celebrate an incredible season for the Athletic & United Boys ⚽️🟠⚽️

The lads and parents had a great night, with plenty of smiles, laughs and memories made. It was a bittersweet evening as we said goodbye to our Seaton United squad after an unforgettable journey together. 🍻🟠⚽️

A huge congratulations and good luck to Jacob and Arlo as they begin the next chapter with Carlisle. We also wish Zac, Elliot, Elijha, Oliver and Carson every success as they move on to new teams.

Keep working hard, enjoy every minute and make Seaton proud !!!

From little kickers to travelling up and down the country, this group grew into a formidable force in their age group and above . The coaches couldn't be prouder of everything the lads have achieved, both on and off the pitch

🏆 Coaches' Player – Freddie: Gives 110% in everything he does and never complains. A coach's dream.
🏆 Parents' Player – Mason: Sets the standard in both training and matches, approaching everything with a desire to succeed.

Our Seaton United lads all received something a little different for their final presentation with Seaton... (for now anyway! 🫣😅 )

Each player was presented with their very first Seaton playing shirt, framed, along with a selection of memorable photos from their journey in orange. A small way of saying thank you for everything they've given to the club and to remember the incredible memories made together.

Well done, lads! You'll always be part of the Seaton family. 💙🧡

⚽️ TOURNAMENT DAY ⚽️

Seaton United took part in the Team Evie tournament. This is one of the best tournaments in the calendar, always competitive & well organised. Credit to all those involved 👏

Seaton United always go into tournaments with the expectation of competing and going deep, and this tournament was no different.

With games only eight minutes long, it was difficult for any team to really get a foothold, meaning every moment counted. Despite that, United grew into the tournament with each game, producing disciplined performances to top the group for the majority of the afternoon

Onto another final......

The final saw a familiar matchup against local rivals Whitehaven. It was a closely contested game, with Seaton enjoying the majority of the possession and creating the better chances.

However, neither side could find the breakthrough, and the match finished 0-0.

Penalties - Unfortunately, Seaton came up just short in the shootout.

A cruel way to lose after such a strong tournament, but the lads can be immensely proud of their efforts. Reaching another final and competing right to the very end is a testament to the quality, character and determination this team has shown throughout their journey

This game also marked the last time these boys would pull on the Seaton orange shirt. Not just because the season has come to an end this time but because the players are parting ways & moving on to new footballing challenges.

These United boys have been a dominant force, not only in their own age group but also when playing against the age above. It's been a season full of fantastic wins, memorable trophies, brilliant highs and unforgettable moments. Memories that I hope every one of the lads will treasure for years to come.

Today both Seaton United and Athletic took part in the annual Aspatria Tournament

Tournament Champions – Seaton United !

Seaton United faced a tough group stage, coming up against strong teams they have shared many battles with over the years.

Their route to the final had everything – dramatic last-minute goals, brill saves, and nerve testing penalty shoot-outs. Showing resilience and determination throughout, United finished as group winners and booked their place in the final !

Waiting for them were local rivals and tournament hosts Aspatria, setting up a fitting finale between two well-matched sides.
The final certainly didn't disappoint. It was a closely contested game with chances at both ends, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats throughout. Seaton United eventually broke the deadlock with some brilliant football, linking play together superbly and showing their quality when it mattered most.

After a fantastic tournament campaign full of memorable moments, Seaton United held firm and deservedly went on to WIN the tournament.

Seaton Athletic- Athletic gave a superb account for themselves today, the lads went unbeaten in their group

Games had it all, much like United the lads kept everyone entertained, showing off the much improvement In their play over the course of the season

Final. Athletic booked their place in the group final, unfortunately coming up short on this occasion. However , everyone of the lads should be proud of themselves

Today both United and Athletic were back in action, welcoming Aspatria teams

United : Aspatria is a much improved team, this wasn't expected to be a one-sided game & the game was brill to watch

Close from start to finish, with both teams creating chances in an end-to-end encounter. Fine margins separated the sides, needing both defences to stay strong

It took a couple of well-worked individual goals to finally break the deadlock. Their defensive resilience provided a solid platform, and the quality in key moments ultimately proved decisive

MOM: Jacob A tireless performance from Jacob, who drove the team forward. He linked play brilliantly, posed a constant threat in attack, and capped off his display with a brill goal. Player sponsorship - Alpha Denture Clinic Ltd

Coaches player of the game went to Arlo : Arlo produced several top-drawer saves to keep United in the game at crucial moments. His confidence playing out from the back also helped United build attacks and maintain possession under pressure. Player sponsorship- Saxon Building Services

Athletic: Just like their United teammates, Athletic were involved in a tough and competitive game. It was an end-to-end contest, but as the match progressed, Athletic began to take control of possession for large periods and showed great composure on the ball

There were some brilliant team goals on display, showcasing the players' growing understanding and teamwork. Defensively, the team worked as a unit, supporting one another and staying organised throughout.

Most importantly, the improvement in this group week after week is clear to see. The players continue to develop together, and their hard work is being reflected in their performances

MOM: went to Jacob:
A top display in a variety of positions. He defended strongly, linked play effectively, and helped drive the team forward whenever Athletic were in possession. He capped off a brilliant performance with some excellent goals. Player sponsorship: Graham Holliday Roofing

Coaches Player: Went to Mason: Mason's attitude and determination earned him this weeks award. If there was a trophy for Attitude of the Week, he would be in contention every single week. Congratulations to Jacob Sharpe and Arlo Walton signing their first contracts for Carlisle United Football Club Academy. ⚽🧤🥅

Bittersweet for both of the lads who have loved every minute playing for their home village with all the support from their friends and family ❤️❤️

Today Seaton Athletic took part in the Workington Juniors Football Festival, a fantastic, well organised morning of football. Credit to those and everyone who took part

As the current holders of the tournament cup, Seaton Athletic arrived with high expectations and lived up to them throughout the group stages.

The team produced an excellent display, winning 6 of their 7 group matches with some fantastic goals along the way. Brill attacking play, goals , defensive displays but it was the collective team that provided the foundation for their success

The players worked tirelessly for one another, showing great organisation, determination, and resilience!

Having progressed to the semi-finals, Seaton Athletic faced a side they had already defeated during the group stages. In what proved to be a very close and highly competitive contest, the game was decided by the finest of margins. Despite a top effort, the lads were narrowly edged out

While the result was disappointing, there was plenty to be proud of. The quality of football, teamwork and positive attitude shown by every player reflected the values of this team
