Opposition Coaches’ Player of the Match 🏆

I spoke to the opposition coach after the match and he singled out two players for special mention.

Jack C for his first-half performance, where he was a real thorn in the opposition’s side and caused them plenty of problems.

And Oliver for his second half performance on the left wing, setting up Alby’s hat-trick with some great wing play. Two moments that really stood out to James during the game.

Well done, boys! 👏🏼

Coaches’ Player of the Match 🏆

This week’s award goes to our captain for the match, Quinn! 👏🏼

A bit of a cumulative award really, as Quinn has played really well today and has been in great form over the past few weeks.

He’s absolutely thriving in the right-back position, defending well, winning his duels and bursting forward whenever he gets the chance. It’s been great to see his confidence growing week by week.

Well done, Quinn. Keep working hard and keep flying on that confidence! 💪🏼

Quinn is kindly sponsored by Isaac The Barberman thank you for your support.

Match Report: Whitehaven Amateurs U11

Saturday 3rd October 2026

Good game this morning. The way the lads have been playing recently, I think they carried a lot of confidence into today’s game.

Credit to Whitehaven, they played a tough game and made it really difficult for our lads to play. They pressed us hard and reduced our time on the ball, which meant we struggled to move the ball around with the same pizzazz we’ve shown in recent weeks. This led to the ball coming back towards our backline a little more than we would have liked.

Luckily, our backline is more than capable of dealing with those threats, and we looked as solid as ever at the back.

In the latter stages, we switched up the formation to try and reduce the amount of joy they were getting out on the wings. It proved to be a good move as we matched them better and started to dominate the game again.

We scored some great goals today as well. Nothing better than a sweaty! 😍⚽️

Well done, boys. 🔴⚽️

Coaches’ Player of the Match

Very cliché, but honestly, it could have been anyone today. There were so many excellent performances all over the pitch.

But…

Alby gets the nod from us today!! Worked his socks off in the attacking areas of the pitch with the engine, speed and intelligence to get back and defend his box when he needed to. Taking his chances in front of goal with the confidence we all know he has was what stood out for me.

Well done, Alby! 👏🏼

Play with that confidence every week and we’ve got a superstar in the making!

Opposition Coaches’ Player of the Match

This week’s award went to Jack! 👏🏼

After a nervous start, Jack soon found his feet and began to make a real impact. He created some great link-up play, worked back when needed and took his chance brilliantly to score a well-worked team goal with a really calm and composed finish. 🔴⚽️

Moments later, a bit of creative play nearly produced another fantastic goal, with Jack unlucky to see his effort just miss the top corner.

Well played, Jack! 👏🏼

Take the positives from today, remember the advice, and keep trying to implement it into your game. That’s how you continue to grow and improve. 💪🏼

CMC Whites U11 – Saturday 26th September

What a hugely entertaining match this was! 👏🏼

Super proud of how the lads turned up and performed against a very, very strong outfit.

The message from the coaches was a simple one: remember what we have achieved, work hard for each other, and always try to play football.

Three huge ticks in the box today. ✅✅✅

The game itself was end-to-end, with some great football and big moments coming from both teams. The lads showed tremendous effort, togetherness and belief from start to finish.

Well done to every single player involved. You should all be very proud of yourselves. 👏🏼

Player of the Match #2

Our other Player of the Match this week goes to Joshua! 👏

Another selfless and tireless display of football from this brilliant player. Joshua embodies exactly the attitude we want to see — listen to the coaches, take it on board and then implement it on the pitch.

His work rate and ability on the ball today were a shining example of how kids’ football should be played. Giving everything for the team, working hard for his teammates and showing real quality when in possession.

Well done, Joshua! 👏🔴 Keep working hard just like you are — you’re doing brilliantly! ⚽️

Coaches’ Player of the Match ( #1)

This week’s award goes to our amazing goalkeeper, Greatness! 🧤

Just when we think we’ve seen it all and nothing will surprise us with this lad, he goes and does it again!

Today we witnessed more massive moments from Greatness — the kind of moments that big-game players produce when their team needs them most. Outstanding saves, huge moments and another performance that showed just how much he is developing.

Keep working hard, Greatness. Keep believing, keep learning and keep doing what you do! 👏🔴
