U13 & U15 Matchday ⚽

Our U13 & U15s Workington Reds AFC Girls Academy were in action against each other in an in-house training game, giving the girls opportunity to get minutes in the legs & continue building towards the upcoming season 💪

These games are important as the players continue to progress as teams & prepare themselves for the challenges ahead in the 2026/27 North West Girls Super League 🙌

Another step forward, another experience shared & more valuable minutes in the bag ✅️

Another good test for our U13s Workington Reds AFC Girls Academy as we welcomed Morecambe Girls Football Club over the weekend 🤝

The girls are really stepping up their preparations ahead of what promises to be a challenging but exciting season 💪

The game ended in a score draw, but once again it was another fantastic test & a great opportunity to continue building as a team 🙌

Girl of the Game was Myla Cavanagh, well done Myla, another fantastic performance 👏

Our U13s Workington Reds AFC Girls Academy were in action as they continue their preparations for their first season in the North West Girls Super League, hosting Chester-le-Street Town Youth U13s Girls 🤝

The girls stepped up to the challenge & were outstanding throughout, putting in a fantastic team performance to come away with the victory & a clean sheet 👏🔥

A brilliant performance from the whole team, with Ellie Crelling named Girl of the Game ⭐

Well done Ellie, keep up the hard work 💪👏

🏆 Tournament Success for Our Girls Academy 🏆

Our fantastic U12s & U13s Workington Reds AFC Girls Academy squads competed in the Wigan Schools Football Association JH Community Football Coaching this weekend... & what a weekend it was 🙌

The weather was hot, the games came thick & fast, but that didn't stop our girls from producing some outstanding performances 👏

Both teams played some fantastic football throughout the day, stepping up to every challenge against quality opposition 💪

🏆 U12s – Champions Trophy Winners 🏆

The girls were relentless from start to finish, playing football that is unbelievable for their age. They topped both groups before reaching & winning the Champions Trophy Final..

Another outstanding performance from the group. Their hard work & determination earned them a place in the Europa Trophy Final, where they came out on top..
