Tough one to take this. Our second loss of the season comes with just 4 games to go.

A game in which we dominated possession and created numerous chances, but couldn’t find the finish. We were then punished with an unfortunate own goal in the 80th minute.

A tactical change to try and salvage a draw saw us get caught on the counter, with Pilsley making it 2-0. Game over.

With 3 games to go, it’s still all to play for — setting up an exciting end to the season!

As always, we’ll regroup and go again as a team.

A hard-fought 2–1 win and a massive 3 points! 💎

On Sunday we travelled to Holmewood to face a strong Holmewood FC side in a tough contest.

First half: We never really got going. The home side created a number of chances and eventually made one count, capitalising on a ball over the top to go 1–0 up. The only real positives were a couple of quality saves from Brandon to keep us in it.

After a rallying half-time team talk and a couple of changes, the lads came out a different side in the second half 💎

A dangerous ball into the box caused chaos, and while the hosts looked for a decision, the ref waved play on. Staying alert, George headed the ball back across goal for Thommo, who smashed it home! 1–1 💎

With momentum now firmly on our side, we pushed on, and it paid off. Thommo was played through again and calmly slotted into the bottom corner to make it 2–1 💎

A real game of two halves. The work rate, belief and intensity in the second half made all the difference, and we come away with a huge 3 points 💎

A big performance from the boys today against an unbeaten Crown & Anchor side at Markland Play Field 💪

We went 1–0 down early, but the lads kept playing our football and got the reward when George Evans reacted quickest to a rebound to make it 1–1 ⚽️

Second half we pushed and pushed…

Then Connor Doan stepped up with a moment of magic 🤯

Corner floated to the back post, headed back across goal… Doany chests it down and pulls off the “Bicycleta” to fire us into the lead!

2–1 DIAMOND 💎

The lads saw the game out brilliantly to secure all 3 points 👏
