So we have just about recovered from the 2nd Pingsters Closed(ish) and it was quite the day out!!

We have a new Champion in the Open singles, a predictable final between Pedro Professor Topspin and Brandon Bennett, Brandon took this one but Pedro got his own back in the Under 40's. Pedro also walked away with the Drawn doubles with partner Thomas (Mount Doomhold) James, fighting off Sarah and Brandon (again) in the final. Rudi picked up the consolation in the Open Singles after a shock exit in the groups getting the better of Keith in the final.

The Vets is still to be decided as we simply ran out of time, but all in all it was a celebration of the game, the club, and the people who make it what it is. Until next year...

Tomorrow sees the return of the annual Pingsters Closed(ish) Tournament. Open to all those who attend the club, this year we have extended the program to include a Vets, Unders 40's and a drawn doubles as well as the Open singles. Its gonna be a long day of Ping pong and a real celebration of the club with the new venue and equipment.
