This Saturday sees our final league game of the season as we look to finish on a high after returning back at Llay Welfare! ❤️💛

Then it’s straight into our End of Season Do at Llay Miners Welfare Institutefor the Rhythm Train 90s Night, supported by our good friends John Lloyd & Daz! 🎶🍻

🏏 SEVEN ON THE BOUNCE! 🏏

Another brilliant weekend for Welfare CC with two wins in two days making it 7 consecutive victories! 🔥

Saturday saw us travel to St Asaph and put 178/5 on the board, led by a superb 69 from Jack Honey*.
We then held St Asaph to 165/8, with Fin Williams taking 5 wickets to seal a 13-run win.

Back at the Llay Ring on Sunday, Mike Wright’s excellent 93 helped us post 182/4 against Denbigh. Another strong team effort with the ball restricted the visitors to 154/9, giving the Welfare a 28-run victory.

There’ll be a few stiff and sore bodies taking to the field today 😅 but we’re back at The Ring as we welcome Denbigh CC.

The Wella makes it 5 wins from the last 5 games. 🏏🏏

After a poor start from the Welfare where we lost our first 5 wickets for only 3 runs!

A brilliant knock from Fin Williams and Jack Edwards helped the team achieve a respectable score.
