As part of England boxing Established in 1966 we are York’ oldest boxing club and became affiliated to The Amateur Boxing Association of England in 1967.
Many young people have stepped through our doors over the years, some went a little further by stepping into the ring. Many became area champions with some going onto regional level. We have had a few make a living as professional boxer too. All our coaches are qualified to ABAE standard, Police checked (CRB) insured and trained in child welfare matters. Great performance form are man Arlo Stephens tonight on the Tyson Fury undercard in with another unbeaten heavyweight arlo landed big right hand at end of the first witch dropped his opponent just before the bell but the end came soon in the second 2 more knock downs and it woz all over.... Great return after 2 years out with injury back on track now and a WBC AWARD TO BOOT.... big thank you to Tyson Fury and Spencer Brown for the opponent 🥊
