Sutton Upon Derwent Lawn Tennis Club is located just outside of York. We host 2 very high-quality natural grass tennis courts and 2 all weather astro courts.
We welcome new members to the club and offer league matches, coaching sessions and social events.

We were delighted when Karen Mitchell contacted the club to ask if she could practise on our grass courts ahead of her matches at Wimbledon.
Karen, President of Yorkshire Tennis and Padel, is competing in the British Closed Championships as part of the Senior Masters World Tennis Championships, playing in both the singles and doubles events.
It was a pleasure to welcome Karen to Sutton and play a small part in her preparations. Everyone at the club wishes her every success at Wimbledon—we'll be cheering her on! 🎾🍀

Sunday 9th August is the Rob McNeil Tournament. So if you're lucky enough to be aged 45 or older you qualify. It's a mixed doubles tournament and please bring a partner. 11am Start Time. There is a BBQ in the evening that's kindly being hosted locally. The venue will be announced at the tournament.
