Competition Enterprise week is upon us! Preparations are complete: the marquee is up, the caterers have arrived and many competitiors are on site and busy rigging, cleaning and polishing their gliders. The weather for the week looks great and first launches are due tomorrow mid morning. Can't wait!

Less than a week to the start of Competition Enterprise! A reminder that the first comp day will be Saturday 8th August. Meanwhile preparations are at an advanced state with everyone pitching in to cut the grass, strim the edges, clean the decking and generally prepare the club for the influx of competitors from up and down the UK. Temperatures hitting 30 degrees made for decent thermals but the strong and blustery SW winds made soaring quite difficult. Congratulations to Calvin Lepard on converting to the Junior and completing two good flights in far from ideal conditions.
