Led by Royal Ballet teacher Miss Donya and her talented team, our welcoming studios offer a beautiful place to discover dance at any ability level. En Pointe is our vibrant, creative dance school which offers professional expert teaching to all of their students here in historic York. Ballet is at the heart of the school and we are proud to teach the world recognised Classical Ballet RAD syllabus. We teach a range of classes to all ages in our newly designed studios including Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap and Acro. En Pointe Dance School engages its students with our fun and inspiring classes that are designed specifically to the students age and ability. At En Pointe Dance Studios, we have a range of classes specially suited to our youngest dancers — from 20 months upwards!

🩰 PRE-SCHOOL BALLET
A gentle introduction to ballet, movement, music and imagination.

🎉 DINKY DISCO
A fun-filled dance class packed with music, movement and lots of fun! Perfect for little ones who love to dance, wiggle and have fun.

What a start to the new term. 💜

Over the last few weeks, we’ve welcomed so many new faces through our doors. Some taking their very first dance class, others joining us to take the next step in something they already love.

And alongside them are dancers who have been part of En Pointe for over 10 years

That means a lot to us.

Because En Pointe has never just been about teaching steps. We want it to be somewhere young people can **belong, grow and perform**. Somewhere they can build confidence, make friends, challenge themselves and discover just how much they’re capable of.

We’re incredibly proud that a little dancer can begin their journey with us at one of our free baby ballet sessions and, if they choose, continue right through their childhood into GCSE Dance and our pre vocational training.

We get to watch tiny dancers become confident young people. And that really is a privilege.

To every parent who chooses En Pointe, drives to classes, waits in reception, buys the shoes, sorts the uniform, encourages the practice and keeps showing up week after week: **thank you**. Without you, quite simply, none of this happens.

And to our dancers, whether you joined us ten years ago or ten days ago, thank you for bringing so much life into our studios.

Our dream is actually quite simple. To give every dancer who comes through our doors such a positive experience of dance that, many years from now, they might walk back through those same doors holding the hand of a little dancer of their own.
