Greg’s latest project is underway…
And we have to admit, he’s done a pretty good job so far on our new Yoga & Pilates room🙏

He’s been busy behind the scenes this week giving the room a fresh coat of paint, ordering all the little bits we need and generally turning an empty room into somewhere that’s going to look soooo cosy 🥰

We’re still waiting on a few more bits to be delivered and once they’re in, it’s going to look even better.

So a big thank you to Greg for all the work he’s put into getting it ready.

We give him enough jobs around here, so it’s only fair we occasionally give him some public credit when he gets them done 😂

We’re so pleased we’re able to offer these new classes to our gym members as part of their membership at no extra charge.

What does a standard day at Evo look like?

People training.
Classes running.
And Martyn looking for something he’s lost😆

If you know Martyn, nothing we’re about to say will particularly surprise you.

He loves a chat, knows half the gym and has also developed a bit of a reputation for leaving things behind.

Bank card.
AirPods.
Phone.
You name it, we’ve probably helped him look for it at some point.

In fact, we recently searched the gym for his missing AirPods…only for him to come in the next day and tell us he’d found them in his car🤦‍♀️😂

So when Martyn got home after his workout on Tuesday and realised he couldn’t find his phone…
Nobody was particularly surprised😂

Back to Evo he came to look for it.

And he brought backup…
Everyone meet Buddy🐶

Are dogs a regular feature at Evo? No.
Did that stop Martyn bringing Buddy along for the search? Also no😂

Where Martyn goes, Buddy tends to follow.

So if you ever see a dog casually trotting across the gym, Martyn won’t be far behind…probably looking for something he’s lost😂

A gym is obviously about training.
But it’s the characters you meet along the way that make it what it is🫶

And we believe every gym needs a Martyn💙
