The concept is to get as many people as possible to sign up to swim at least 30 strokes in a list of 30 bays in Guernsey between 1st July and 30th July to raise money for Les Bourgs Hospice in Guernsey (an alternative option is available for any person with mobility issues or who may not be able to access all of the bays). Sunshine and blue skies gave a glimpse of Summer and a reminder of how lucky we are to have our own tropical paradise just a boat ride away from Guernsey.

THANK YOU! £17.4k raised for palliative care for our Bailiwick Community 🙌🏻.
We were a little overwhelmed with the support of this year’s 12 bays of Christmas fundraiser for with 311 swimmers signing up to the challenge of dipping in the festively themed bays during December.
There was an increase in the number of family groups taking part and also more teams from companies getting involved which was great to see.
Whether you were a swimmer, towel holder or donor we cannot thank you enough. Our grateful thanks to .gg, and for their continued support of the event. Plus the Marley and Sealey families for the original event concept.
Hoping you enjoyed the challenge as much as we did! We can’t wait for the next edition of 30 bays, 15 bays or 9 bays in July.
