A more realistic representation of yesterday. Scallops are now consigned to the history books I reckon.
I did a place that should have had plenty, from 8m down the gulley to 41 and i didn't see a single scallop, zip, zero, not even a small one!
Sean did better, with 11. But with a 45+ minute dive, that's not exactly anything to get excited about.

Safety survey for the boat is now done and she's cleared to go to sea!
So I immediately rushed home, donned my Novoblast and went for a run...
I'm open to suggestions for diving.

Ive had nothing to do with PADI for a decade or so. Apart from when they cried about a reference to them on my website. Desperate much...

**Website Temporarily Down / Card Payments Paused**
At 01:00 this morning, a purchase attempt was made on our site for £9.99, which failed. Five minutes later, a second attempt went through successfully. Roughly 6 hours later, an automated script kicked in, attempting a new purchase almost every minute until I caught it and took our SumUp gateway offline.
In the space of an hour, over 70 transactions were attempted, each using different names, addresses, emails, and stolen credit card numbers. Roughly half were for a Pony mounting kit (£9.99) and the other half "Q/R 25mm Webbing Strap" (£4.99)
This is known as a Card Testing / Cracking / Washing Attack.
Essentially, fraudsters acquire lists of stolen card details from the dark web and use automated bots to attempt small, low-value purchases across random online shops. They do this simply to find out which stolen cards are still active before using them for larger fraud elsewhere. Our site was unfortunately chosen as the testing ground last light.
What this means for you:
Your data is safe: This was not a breach of our website or database. No customer data or accounts were compromised.
Payments Status: I'm working with Sumup to refund the 3 successful transactions and hopefully report all the card numbers to the issuers.
Next Steps: I'm currently implementing stronger automated bot protection (CAPTCHAs and security firewalls) and will have the shop back online safely very soon.
All orders can be cash on collection for now.
Weirdly, the site is now down more than up. Intermittently offline It's a separate issue, but must be connected somehow.
Thank you for your patience while we clean up the digital litter!
