We took the advanced squad off the beaten path to hunt down some of the most rugged, rewarding trails in Hong Kong. Lamma Island did not disappoint!

When you're pushing the pace on advanced terrain, the fundamentals need to be bulletproof. We spent the morning dialing in the heavy-hitting skills:
💥 Mastering bike-body separation.
🛫 Boosting jumps with confidence.
💨 Railing flat corners.
🛑 Precision brake control on the steeps.

After leaving it all on the dirt, we swapped the bikes for the beach and fired up the stoves for an afternoon of wild cooking. Epic trails, next-level progression, and a well-earned feast by the ocean.

Our latest journey took us deep into Chi Ma Wan in search of Lantau’s hidden gems.

We kicked off the morning by dialing in the fundamentals: mastering direction control through leaning, rotating, and steering the bike. Once those core skills were locked in, we put them to the test on some of the best singletrack the island has to offer.

But the adventure didn't end on the dirt. We wrapped up the day swapping pedals for pans with an epic afternoon of wild cooking right on the beach. Good food, great trails, and even better company.

What does a a Wednesday adventure day look like at Friendly Rides & Guides?

🌲 Morning: Hitting the Mui Wo Bike Park! We spent the first half of the day dialing in progressive skills, building confidence, and finding our flow on the trails.

🕵️‍♂️ Afternoon: Time to put that teamwork to the test. The kids teamed up for an epic, large-scale scavenger hunt across Mui Wo, cracking missing clues and working together to navigate the landscape.

🌊 The Reward: The ultimate cool-down splashing around by the local waterfalls.
