It is a development-focused facility for clients but will in addition facilitate supervision and development of coaches, offer access to elite athletes, and provide scientific profiling tools for maximum intervention opportunities. Utilising the international experience and contacts of the Head Trainer, Tom Summers, Pinnacle aims to be the centre of the thriving physical and personal development plans of many residents in Hong Kong and offer a network of development for members, athletes and coaches alike. It aims to be the best facility in terms of equipment, accessibility and coaching standards. Athletic development is the core priority of Pinnacle. Members and clients are able to access the best coaches and facilities and experience unrivaled and fully comprehensive physical profiling if appropriate. Profiling options individually assess strengths and weaknesses, anatomical measurements and movement control in the most scientifically appropriate methods. Subsequently prescribed individual training programmes will focus on specific physical, biomechanical, bioenergetic and nutritional (where appropriate) development based on profiling results. Profiling and training will, where appropriate, including video footage and analysis, full physiological measurement, and highly accurate scientific methods for analysing progression during training blocks. This level of testing and assessment is currently unavailable in Hong Kong and members who wish to attain the very highest standards of fitness either for competition or pleasure are unable to apply accurate scientific principles and measure their progression.
