Bay Rovers Juniors 8 Dunmanway Town 0

The Juniors took on an under strength Dunmanway Town this morning and did what we had to do. Paddy Cronin opened the scoring quickly followed by Jose Asuncion and Calvin Cronin. Paddy got a second then James Desmond decided to get involved and scored a further 2 goals. Chris Cronin who has discovered a taste for goal scoring got his second and the goal of the game with a 25 yard screamer to finish the scoring. We continue our unbeaten start to the season.
Team Captain Alex Young.
Thanks to everyone who came along to watch.
Thanks to Dunmanway Town.
And thanks to the match sponsor Martin Cronin Construction Ltd for sponsoring the last couple of matches.

We are looking for a match sponsor for our next home game against Beara.

Kits Sponsored by Danny Collins and Donagh Cronin Construction.

It's Match Day! Come along and support the lads. Our thanks to the Match day sponsor Martin Cronin Construction Ltd.

WCL CHAMPIONSHIP CUP QUARTER FINAL

Beara 2 v Bay Rovers 3

Another excellent game of football in very difficult conditions this morning.
The lads were still getting used to the pitch when in the 3rd minute the wind took a Beara shot which floated over the Rovers players heads and went into the top corner. After going 1-0 down we really started to play some great football. A volley was brilliantly saved by the Beara keeper then Rovers were awarded a penalty in the 43rd minute. Initially missed James Desmond was the first to pounce to make it 1-1 at half time.

The wind dropped a bit in the 2nd half, Rovers continued to play passing football and were rewarded with a 2nd penalty which Paddy Cronin converted. Ryan O'Boy gave us a 3rd goal when his free kick went beyond the goalkeeper. Beara were given a penalty in the 81st minute but Rovers held out to progress to the Semi-final.

Thanks to Beara for getting the match played.
Thanks to the ref Niall O'Donovan and to the few supporters who stood there in the wind and rain.
