It started with buying a lovely ice cream, got a couple of nice bites and headed around the corner to walk back to the car, looked briefly the other way when a seagull swooped on it. Looked like he was going to attack again so donated it to the footpath, where the others swooped and finished it off!
Beware the seagulls in St Andrews!
After the ice cream was devoured, I headed off to the 18th green at the Old Course, sat down on a bench and noticed there was a familiar looking seagull watching me.
The one who went for the ice cream had a distinctive orange mark on its beak. And there it was next to the bench. Flew away briefly but as I walked to the car park near the Old Tom statue. There it was flying around again. And followed up to the car, and sat down on a near pillar and stared!
Could have been an updated version of The Birds! But saved by the car!
