👏 Well done to our fantastic U10 girls’ team, who played their final games of the season today! 🟢⚫️

It’s been a brilliant season for the girls, who have made incredible progress and grown so much as players and as a team.

A huge thank you to the LSGL for organising the treats and medals for the girls today. 🏅

Thank you also to all the parents, Flo’s Deirdre, Ruth and Agnieszka, and our coaches for all their support throughout the season.

And, most importantly, thank you to the girls themselves, who have become a fantastic team! 💚⚽️

And that’s it for the Academy Season folks!
Leah from the Albion group would like to thank all the kids and their parents for coming out every weekend for training and the matches.
We’ve had an amazing season, and it’s just going to get better for these kids, they’re all superstars !
We’d love to take a moment to give a shout out to Conor and Paul, they have spent every Saturday morning building the kids’ confidence, teaching them new skills, and giving them the opportunity to become the best versions of themselves !
Also want to take a moment to thank Paul Kinch and his daughter Kate Walsh for supplying the goodie bags, and also Liam Callan, Steven Reay, Robert McQuillan, and the rest of the management for being so generous and helpful throughout the year!
We want to wish the best of luck to the kids moving to U8s, pictured below: Dylan, Tom, Kealan, Conor, Bella, Oisin, Logan, Mylo, Harry, and Sean (not pictured).

Have a great and safe Halloween, Christmas, and New Year everyone! 💚

Congratulations to our ladies div 3 team who beat Robinstown in a top of the table clash tonight. Robinstown took the lead through an early goal from a corner kick but Albion responded straight away. Albion then went 3-1 up with great midfield passes from Cora and Naiya. Robinstown responded with their second goal right before half time from an excellent corner and a great header to the back of the net.
Albion gathered themselves at half time and came out in the second half with 2 well taken finishes from Sophie to put Albion 5-2 up. Emily butler had to make an excellent save from a well taken free kick to keep Robinstown out and Emily Flynn then scored to see the game out at 6-2 with Albion taking control until the final whistle. Everybody worked so hard from start to finish and it was an excellent team performance led by our captain Leah at the back.
🏆🏆 In their first year playing ladies football this team has completed a Shield and League double. What an amazing achievement.
Well done to all the girls and coaches on an amazing season 💚🖤👏🏼👏🏼

🏆⚽️ A super night under the lights at United Park for our Albion Rovers U12 girls ⚫️🟢

The girls had the opportunity to parade their league trophy around the pitch at half-time during the Drogheda United v Derry City match 🏆

Some of the girls also got to act as ball girls on the night, giving them a brilliant close-up view of the 2-0 Drogs win! ⚽️

👏 Thanks must go to the Derry City supporters for their warm reception to the girls and of course a special thanks to the Famous 45 for their drum rolls and Kevin Doherty style cheers as the girls raised the trophy one at a time in front of them! 💪 👊 👏

A brilliant experience and memory for the girls to take away from their successful season 🏆
